“Tranquil setting, charming cottage.”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2015

Beautiful setting for this unique little cottage, perfect for relaxing. Very comfortable, everything is to a very high standard and the view from the hot tub will melt your troubles away.

“Idealic haven away from a busy life!”

Reviewed 21 Jan 2015

What a wonderful weekend we had! The directions were great and we found the property. It was lovely, clean and decorated nicely. It was a bit chilly (December) so we got the fire going straight away which created a cosy environment. What would have been nice was if there was enough kindling to start a 2nd fire the next day. We knew we would have to buy extra logs for a 2nd fire but didn't know about the kindling. The facilities were perfect with everything you would need. The bathroom was fabulous and having a tv in the bedroom was a treat! We used the Jacuzzi twice in 2 days and it was just PERFECT under a starry sky with the fairy lights around the front door of the cottage illuminating just enough. The owners were so kind and even left us a bottle of wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Communication by emails prior to the stay was great. The level of privacy was perfect. Noone to bother us :-) We will definitely return to recharge our batteries!!

“Beautiful cottage in the heart of Scotland - perfect for a romantic break for two!”

Reviewed 10 Jan 2014

My husband and I stayed in the Bothy for four nights at the beginning of December. The cottage is beautiful; luxuriously furnished, comfortable, spacious but cosy and has the added bonus of a private hot tub outside that we took advantage of on several occasions. There is nothing better than gazing at the stars on a cold and frosty night (with a light dusting of snow on the ground) sitting in a hot tub! We had a lovely stay and returned home feeling really relaxed - we hope to return one day.

“Paradise found at Loch Tay”

Reviewed 10 Jan 2014

This was our second stay at the Bothy, our first visit was in June 2013 during the wonderful spell of hot weather, so it was nice to go back in the winter to compare. It is a beautiful property finished to a very high standard. Warm and welcoming with stunning views over Loch Tay. Within seconds of entering The Bothy you feel at home, (if only we could find a similar property to buy) the open plan kitchen/dining/livingroom with wood burning stove is comfortable and great when cooking allowing you to still talk and interact with those you are staying with. Bedroom large and bed very comfortable, quiet and secluded location means that you are guranteed a good nights sleep. Bathroom with large bath and separate shower very clean and lovely fluffy towels and robes add to the luxury. Then there's the hot tub - sheer bliss - whats not to like sitting in the tub looking out over Loch Tay - why would you want to leave. Its a great spot, I'm loathed to comment on it as I want to keep it a secret! We are looking forward to our next visit. Enjoy.

“Fantastic cottage”

Reviewed 5 Nov 2013

We spent 3 lovely nights in the Bothy in October 2013. It is equipped with everything you would need and has lots of leafets and information about the surrounding areas. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is fantastic. The hot tub is great, perfect for relaxing - even in the rain! I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing short break or a great base to explore Perthshire and come back to a little luxury every night.
