Description

The Coach House sits in the tranquil grounds of Château des Etoyères, with 11 acres of woodland and parkland bordered by the river. Guests are welcome to enjoy the full use of the grounds, the chapel, the river and the heated outdoor swimming pool (12x6m) and offers a private garden with BBQ area for outdoor dining.

The Coach House offers a relaxing holiday where guests can enjoy the countryside within the grounds of the estate, and is ideal for families and friends wishing to spend quality time together. Many of our guests only leave the estate to pick up their croissants for breakfast!

The Mayenne area is famed for its unspoilt countryside, rich cultural heritage and outdoor adventures. From a Roman city, to prehistoric caves, to Renaissance castles, to a medieval castle that withstood the attack from William the Conqueror - the Mayenne has an abundance of secrtes to be discovered.

The river after which the town is named, has now lost its industrial importance, however it is used for kayaking, fishing, swimming or a leisurley river cruise with gastronomic restaurants found along the 80km of towpath, allowing visitors to sample the renowned local cuisine..

A local bilingual property manager will meet you upon your arrival and is on hand to answer any queries.

Paths through the woodland allow gentle walks and mountain biking.
Fishing rods, kayaks and bicycles are provided for the entertainment of guests.
The outdoor heated swimming pool is protected with an infra red perimeter alarm.
Sun loungers and pool chairs are provided for the comfort of guests.
The estate offers plenty of lawn areas for playing, sports or relaxing with a good book.

“Stunning property and location”

Fantastic property with beautiful grounds. Very peaceful location. The adults were able to relax whilst the children aged 13, 11 and 6 and the dog could play in the 11 acres of land the property is on and cool off in the river or swimming pool afterwards. Highly recommended

Great House, extremely well equipped with laundry, kitchen, BBQ, dishes and cookware all in great condition. Perfect for quality family time together. The sports facilies were brill. There was fishing equipment, ping pong (table tennis) push bikes and of course the pool. The local village was a beautiful two mile walk away. The locals were extremely friendly and welcoming. Both my mum, my sisters family and my family really enjoyed our time together, and returned home very relaxed. This is a rural location, so take bug plugs to ensure complete pleasure. We booked immediately to return the following year.
