This apartment is on the top floor of a 4 floor block on Las Islas, great views and more of a breeze to keep you cool. The views from the large terrace are of the golf course, one of the communal swimming pools and the lake which surrounds this section of the Las Terrazzas development. This home is furnished to a high standard and is very comfortable with leather seating, fully equipped kitchen and some splashes of Mexican colours to break up the usual white walls. The large terrace has a wind out canopy, a BBQ area with a Weber gas grill and a granite breakfast bar with stools looking out over the view of the 15th tee, the lake and the pool. There are sun loungers and outside dining table and chairs. There is also a step exercise machine under the BBQ. We love it and feel right at home when there.The large bar / restaurant, Coppola´s, is only 100 mtrs away, Rafaels´team make one feel very welcome and the food is good at a reasonable price. Next door to the bar is a Spar supermarket

Everyday there is a market in one of the surrounding towns for fresh veg, meat and fish.Golf would be the primary reason for renting 3G as it is part of the 6 course, Nicklaus designed IRM Experience and special rates are available on all these courses for guests. However, for non golfers, there are many other leisure pursuits and sightseeing possibilities within the surrounding 20 miles or so. We are only 20 minutes from the Mar Menor inland sea and all it has to offer in the way of watersports, beach bars and nightlife. We are around 45 minutes from Cartagena and Murcia with all their historical interest.

The Region of Murcia region

The Costa Calida / Murcia region is an area full of historical interest with ancient towns such as Murcia and Cartagena to visit and is a mostly agricultural region with none of the industrial development seen in other places in Spain. Almost exclusively low rise, most developments are only four floors high which is pleasant on the eye. There are so many golf courses in this area, one would need a few weeks to play them all comfortably. Within 10 kms of 3G there are 6 courses and many more within 20 kms. The very popular Mar Menor, or Inland Sea, is 20 minutes away and is a vast playground for watersports, bar hopping and sunbathing enthusiasts with warm shallow waters all year round and many beach bars to keep one refreshed. The La Manga strip is a short boat trip away across the Mar Menor and is a good day out, having beaches on both sides of the strip, similar to Miami Beach but, of course, much smaller. The Costa Calida has it´s own micro-climate, the weather is normally better here than in other areas. There are nearly 40 fiestas or festivals in the Murcia region every year and every month something is going on somewhere close by.

Las Terrazas de la Torre

The immediate area around 3G is devoted to large fruit and vegetable farms and Golf courses which abound. The closest Golf course to 3G is 150 mtrs away and the next is only 2 kms which is called La Torre. The two local towns of Balsicas and Roldan, both 5 minutes away by car, have banks, ATM´s, supermarkets and local prdouce stores available.

“Perfect accommodation and peaceful surroundings - 2nd stay for us!”

This is a very modern two bedroom apartment in a very peaceful, secure location. This apartment is very well equipped and suitable for a family of four. Lovely veranda balcony overlooks the pool, lake and golf course, with sun all day. This is our second visit to the same accommodation (2013 & 2014) and if your after peace and quiet with modern furnishings this is the place. Complex is well serviced by security and ground staff, the only restaurant 'Coppolas' offers drinks and food but not the best. Small supermarket provides sufficient provisions for catering, with daily fresh baked breads and croissants. If you want to travel further a field, a car is a must, and makes the beach, Murcia Town and other population resorts only a 15/20 min drive away. The owners, Mike and Michelle, are wonderful and do their best to address your needs wherever possible. Very Honest genuine hosts and even returned our security deposit as we sat on the plane home. Respond very quickly to communications. Would recommend this accommodation without any hesitation. Thanks again Mike and Michelle.

“WE HAD A VERY RELAXING SHORT VACATION AWAY FROM THE MADDING CROWD”

The apartment is less than 15 minutes from Murcia airport . The apartment is South facing so the sun is on the balcony for most of the day and the pool is yards away with beautiful views over water onto the golf course beyond. There is a bar/restaurant near by and the Spanish village of Roldan is 3 miles away with its numerous eateries and bars. This vacation was ideal for us as we were happy to stay close to Terrazas de la Torre but for those a little more adventurous then transport is essential with numerous beach a short car ride away.

“Lovely apartment & comfy bed”

We were staying here to look at buying one of the other apartments on the resort, so obviously location is good. It is secure and safe and peaceful. The only downside is the lack of places to eat - there is only Coppolas within walking distance, but plenty of places within a 10 min drive. The apartment is fabulous. Really nicely decorated, really comfy with all the bits and bobs you need for everyday living. The beds are nice and comfy (a big thing for me) and the heating worked well (it was freezing while we were there). Thanks Mike and Michelle. Look forward to having you as neighbours!

This apartment was exactly what we wanted, situated in a great location. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is supplied, with the reassurance of Roy & Carol just next door! The pool is fantastic, very clean and family friendly. A car is essential to travel to & from the resort and to get around visiting Murcia, Cartagena and the many beaches. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to go back next year!
