Very clean and nice apts. First floor (penthouse with terrace of 50 square meter. Wifi (internet) = 10 euro/week . Complex is only accessible for owners and renters . Style = hacienda, 25 m swimming pool. 1 min walking to the see (swimming, small bar, sunbathing) ... 15 km from airport south. At 1 min walking Shops, restaurant, busstop, rent a car. Only 20 min walking to village (fishers port, restaurants, boat trips, diving). Electr, water, cleaning, towels and sheets incl. Led-tv satellite (Special channels optional). We can send more pictures and info. Not a building, no elevators. Jump from your bed in the pool. Never crowed in or around the complex.

Don't smoke inside the apartment (terrace no problem). Don't change cables or settings of TV and receiver. No pets in allowed in bedrooms and sofa.

“Excellent place to stay”

Good sized appt. Two double bedrooms with twin beds and plenty of wardrobe space plus large sofa bed in lounge. Dining table with 4 chairs and Sat TV with plenty of channels to watch if needed. Decent kitchen inc washer and fridge with plenty of crockery etc. Terrace outside has 2 tables + 4 chairs each (with shaded area if required) and still plenty of room for 4 sunbeds. For our time of year, sun came round about 11.30 and stayed for rest of day - didn't bother with pool but looked ok. Complex nice and quiet at our time of stay and also felt very secure. Small commercial centre a few hundred yards up the road with decent supermarket and a couple of cafe bars serving morning coffee and pastries. This centre did look a bit run down (maybe time of year) and bars here a bit tardy but Albatross Bar at top of complex clean and bright - no noise from here to disturb us at night time. Found some decent eating places (ALejandra's, Smith's, Kath's) within 5 mins walk with 2nd centre about 10 mins walk away. La Galetta is only 20 mins walk (where there are plenty of bars/eating) and you can get a taxi back from there. Regular bus service to Los Christianos In summary, a nice quiet place to stay and we would certainly consider going back again

“Be prepared to sleep on sofa- not a sofa bed thou!”

We booked our family holiday for a 5 of us with Holiday Lettings in Parquo Don Luis. Great start I thought, as the owner replied to all my questions promptly even asking how old our 3 children were. There was no mistake so I thought - an apartment for 5: two adults, 16,13 and 11 year old child! Then we arrived all seemed good - lovely location, great weather, clean surroundings, lovely plants, small but very clean swimming pool (unfortunately awaiting a refurbishment as all the little mosaic tiles fell off!) And then we came across the first hurdle- the apartment we rented had only 4 beds - a bunk bed and two singles. The contact person who welcomed us, was puzzled when we arrived on the 9th August and simply said, " How you are going to sleep here I don't know. There are only four beds in number 15." I had to ring the owner (in Belgium!) and state the obvious that they mis-sold us a holiday apartment with 4 beds for a family of 5. The reply "I forgot there is no sofa bed in no 15" was shocking and a lie as I know that the contact person questioned the owner about the family of 5 sleeping in number 15 before we arrived! After the first contact, the owners suggested that some old dirty sofa bed which was left outside for over a year on the balcony of her other apartment was going to be moved to ours (by whom I don't quite know!) Thanks to a helpful and very resourceful contact person and after 3 nights of sleeping on the floor on the camp bed mattress (brought by her for me), were able to move to the other apartment with 6 beds this time. So let me just say - be careful what you book and ask lots of questions!!! As for the area where the apartment is located, it is lovely and very peaceful. There are some nice restaurants within a walking distance. We had a pool to ourselves on most days- my girls loved it. We used Titsa buses to travel around the island - reliable and cheap. It takes 30 min on a bus to get to Los Cristianos if you fancy a bit of night life or a day on a beach. Shame about the apartment issues thou- it would have been so easy to say - Four beds and a SOFA to sleep on. Are you happy with the arrangement?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
