Location description from owner

The Larnaka District

Located in the traditional Phaneromeni area, approx 10 mins walking distance from the town centre and both Finekoudes & MacKenzie beach.

Larnaca City Central is one of the most popular coastal resorts in Cyprus. It is also home to Cyprus' second busiest port as well as the island's International Airport. Larnaca is a modern cultural town that has pure Cypriot charm.

The motorways linking Paphos and the Famagusta towns including Nicosia the Capital all intersect on the outskirts of the town.

The town's attractive waterfront hosts numerous concerts, exhibitions and cultural events and its Marina attracts yachts from all over the world.

Larnaka City

One of the most pleasant entertainment areas, The Finnikoudes is a beautiful avenue stretching the length of a sandy beach on the popular seafront of the city accommodating some of the best hotels, cafes, pubs, clubs and restaurants in town. The area is busy day and night, summer, winter, springtime and fall, activity is a non-stop procedure.

Another one of Larnaca's attractions this year has been the thousands of flamingos which have visited the Island, here they will rest up and feed for the winter.

The Makenzie Beach is a popular Blue Flag beach situated near Larnaca International Airport. An ideal location for plane spotting, Makenzie Beach is a long beach with fine grey sand. The sea is usually very calm, the water is clear and the footpath near the beach makes a walk along the sandy beach a memorable experience. There are several services and facilities at the beach, such as toilets, changing rooms, sun-beds and umbrellas, lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid. There is an array of water-sports available including windsurfing. Makenzie beach is a hip-chic spot, with its bars and restaurants attracting a mixed and diverse crowd, ranging from families to young couples looking to savour a cool drink on the Mediterranean coast. There is easy and safe access to the beach by bus, car or on foot with ample parking nearby.
