Description

La Grange, our recently converted barn, is the largest of our holiday gites. With three bedrooms it can sleep up to 8 people, so is ideal for larger groups of family or friends. It has also been designed and approved for wheelchair users. A wheelchair friendly ground floor double bedroom (Bedroom one) connects with the large wheel-in wet floor shower room, containing shower and toilet. This provides a luxurious en-suite facility for those with or without a limited mobility. On the first floor there is a large double bedroom (Bedroom two) and a third bedroom with twin beds and bunk beds plus a family sized bath room containing bath, shower and toilet.

La Grange is equipped with washing machine, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, TV with English and French channels, wood burning stove, and electric radiators. The gite also has access to the internet.
Children's swings and slides can be found in the garden, along with the barbeque. Bikes are available for you to borrow. Children's high chairs, baby cots, baby bath, and security stair gates can be provided on request.

On the south side, facing the garden, there is a sunny terrace for sitting and eating out. This garden view is framed by an avenue of beautiful shrubs and trees – from the pinks and blues of the hydrangeas, to the lemon yellows of the mimosa tree. A grassed terrace on the north side looks out onto open fields bordered by our cider-apple trees. The nearest field is home to two donkeys, a pony, and a horse.

“A fantastic relaxing family holiday”

This was our third visit to Gites en Tregor and the holiday lived up to expectations & even exceeded them despite the unpredictable weather. Clara and Martin have added a trampoline in the garden which our 2 (4 and 7 years) children loved. We managed some return visits to the Gaulois Village and the sound garden as well as finding some new haunts. The garden at La Roche Jagu was stunning & the children enjoyed the extensive walks around the gardens, there was also a delightful tea rooms. The beaches were stunning and largely unpopulated, we even managed to swim. Clara & Martin with their two children made every effort to ensure that our holiday was as relaxing as possible. I'm sure we'll be returning!

“Lovely location”

A pleasantly converted former farm building, now providing living / kitchen area and 3 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms. Unlike many Gites we have rented in France, this was light and airy, and with a very well equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean and well cared for. Dogs welcome, which is a huge plus. Ideal location to visit the Cotes d'Armor. The only downside is that we would have preferred a fenced off private patio, and with the outdoor seating to be not so close to that of the next door gite.

Owner's reply: Thanks for the very positive feedback. The outdoor patio areas of La Grange and the smaller gite Ker Toud, are side by side which may not suit all of our guests, but others appreciate the friendly atmosphere which this creates and for some of our guests who come as larger groups and book both gites together this closeness is a positive advantage. This communal area is also useful when we have barbecues and crêpe soirées with all of the guests on summer evenings. Our property is set within 8000 square metres of unspoilt countryside offering plenty of space for all.

“Cosy gite in lovely location”

We stayed in Gites en Tregor with our 2 children and our dog. The gite was well equipped, cosy and very clean with beautiful views of the countryside. There was a pony and donkeys to feed and a garden with chickens, a football goal and trampoline to play with so we had 2 happy and tired children! The gite is brilliantly situated, so you are in easy distance of beautiful beaches, forests and lots of attractions. Horse riding and 'Vivons Perches' (climbing) were particular favourites.
