“Beautiful quiet getaway”

A beautiful and warm cottage in a fantastic part of Wiltshire. Elizabeth was very hospitable and her place had everything we needed. The gardens were amazing and to have Alpacas for neighbors was incredible! We would dare anyone not to like The Dairy.

We are so glad you enjoyed your visit. We had a new addition to the Alpaca family on 8 Sept and she is proving to be a bundle of fun. Thank you for your kind words and we hope to see you again sometime. Kind Regards Langley Green Proprietor & Team

“wonderful place to stay”

Reviewed 23 Jan 2013

I loved this place. we stayed for 2 and half weeks while working in the area. the downstairs kitchen was just perfect, kept in an original style and very roomy too. upstairs there is a large front room, bathroom with shower and a cosy bedroom. The great news is that the internet connection is very high speed and has its own wifi unit. perfect for work. There is also Sky TV too. If you like walking there is plenty of walks around we walked a good 10K walk around the area, for all you geocachers there are plentye of boxes around. To top the stay off we enjoyed feeding the Alpacas... so cute

We are pleased to offer our customers an overall good service, ensuring that they are comfortable, relaxed to enjoy the surrounds, peaceful grounds and of course positively energised when they have to work Thank you J Fairfax (proprietor)

“Lovely period cottage”

Lovely period cottage with everything you need. Having WiFi was essential as we required internet access for work purposes - great bonus. Loved visiting the alpaccas!.

“Charming cottage in idyllic setting”

Reviewed 17 Nov 2012

Rustic character cottage with feature spiral staircase, exposed brick and beamed ceilings make The Dairy a delightful rural retreat. With views over a quiet lane and a beautiful courtyard, the cottage is just a stone's throw from the local pub and a 20 minute walk into Chippenham - the best of both worlds. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff contributed to a very enjoyable week at The Dairy, and we look forward to a return visit soon.

Thank you for taking time to write your feedback on the accomodation offered here at Langley Green / Dairy cottage. Hope to see you again Best regards the team at Langley Green

“Outstanding, the perfect "getaway" cottage for us.”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2012

The Dairy, Langley Burrell Wonderful country cottage with loads of charm and character. Excellent location, 5 minute walk to fabulous pub "The Tap", ten minute drive to Chippenham and very easy access to the M4. Extremely cordial and helpful host. Exceeded our expectations, would love to stay there again during our next trip to England.

“Terrific find...old style, comfortable and charming.”

Reviewed 11 Jun 2012

Quaint two-story attached apartment, has kept old school charm but with all the nessesary mod-cons. A huge beautiful garden right outside the door. I liked this letting so much that I took several at-home days just to rest and enjoy. Situated in a cute rural village, but just a pleasant walk into Chippinham for shopping and amenities, and convenient rail-link to Bath and London. Scenic country drives to Stonehenge and Avesbury. Letter thoughfully provided some basics for me so that I didn't immediately have to go shopping while suffering brutal jet-lag. Susan and the gang at Fairfax couldn't have made me feel more welcome and comfortable, and very helpful in planning my day-trips. Throughly enjoyed staying here, I recommend it to those who want a quiet place to hideway or end your days. Can't wait to get back! Tony Allen, DC LNFD, BC Canada.

“Lots of Character”

Reviewed 7 Feb 2012

We stayed in The Dairy for 3 weeks because we loved it so much. The Dairy is 12th century so the interior is oozing in charm and character with exposed beams and high ceilings. This property has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, sky, internet and central heating. The property is surrounded by lovely country scenery and the local pub is about a 4 minute walk up the road. If you’re an animal lover than more joy awaits you aside with a very friendly donkey, Alpacas, horses and cats. If you want a relaxing stay in the country but with shops handy, Chippenham is 6 mins drive, than this is a great little spot. Thanks to the friendly manager who was very helpful too.
