Description from owner

Description

Broomholmknowe is a beautiful newly renovated cottage located next to Langholm and on the famous Border Esk river. The cottage has three bedrooms with two bathrooms and all modern facilities including Sky TV, Wifi and BT landline. There is a spacious living room, hallway where dogs can sleep and kitchen. Also there is a large terrace with BBQ set and table and chairs.

The combination of a stunning Georgian house at its centre, parkland, mature specimen trees, rich flora and many different species of animal life including Oyster Catchers and red squirrels, make Broomholm a special place to visit for walkers, castle lovers, cyclists and fishermen.

We are not far from Langholm and you can walk there. Langholm has a supermarket, a chemist, an award winning butcher and some great Pubs including the Douglas. We are 1,5 hours from Edinburgh, 40 minutes from Dumfries and 25 minutes to Carlisle. There is a direct train from Carlisle to London Euston which takes 3hrs 15.
