5* Waters Edge in the hamlet of Landshipping is located about 2 minutes walk from the foreshore of the Cleddau Estuary known as the 'Secret Waterway.' Quiet and peaceful yet only 12 minutes drive to the boutique shopping town of Narberth or visit the Georgian harbour town of Tenby (25 minutes) with its wonderful beaches. The Pembrokeshire coast abounds in fabulous beaches and for walkers the coastal path is a must.

The cottage layout provides:-
* A twin bedded room with TV on the ground floor with folding doors overlooking the estuary .
* The bright new family bathroom is close by. Laundry facility with an AEG washer/dryer in a cupboard!.
* Next overlooking the estuary is the living room with vaulted ceiling, wood burning stove, folding doors to the garden. Attractively furnished with ornaments, original oil paintings and prints, shelves of books, a fine Hi-Fi with attachment for own sound is provided.

* Snug - off the living room, very cosy with settee, chairs and TV DVD
* Upstairs two comfortable double bedrooms with new shower room (shower, washbasin and loo) in between - All with Views to estuary!

Folding doors open onto a covered sitting area with wooden garden furniture. The garden has a pretty summerhouse with additional furniture ideal for lazing whilst watching the Estuary sunsets from the west facing garden. A small gate accesses the mown footpath down to the foreshore.

“Heavenly cottage in a lovely tranquil setting”

We have just enjoyed the most wonderful week at Water's Edge. The cottage is the best equipped that we have ever stayed in, everything has been thought of including an abundance of games (indoor and outdoor!) and puzzles for the children. Nigel and Judy were wonderful hosts without being intrusive and the location, with its own access down to the estuary, was idyllic. Pembrokeshire has so much to offer including some of the cleanest, most beautiful beaches we have ever been to - I can't recommend the place highly enough!

The cottage was the best we have stayed in so far, beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable & equipped with everything you could possibly need. Three lovely light bedrooms, shower room & bathroom which appeared newly fitted, very well equipped kitchen & cosy snug, in fact a home from home not a holiday home. And then of course there are the views, amazing! The location of the cottage is quite remote but so very peaceful & totally relaxing. The owners went out of their way to make us welcome & nothing was to much trouble. The best recommendation we can make is that we will definitely return.

Where to start?! This cottage offers pure home from home. Everything has been thought of down to the welcome pack which is perfect after a long journey! As I write this, I am sat looking out towards the water with the log fire roaring away, is there a better way to spend a holiday afternoon?! The beds are very comfy, the towels are pure white & fluffy, the whole place is spotlessy clean, the views are stunning and the owners couldn't be more helpful. So nice to have a separate area to the lounge where you can sit and read. Our dog is very chilled out too! Outside caters for everyone too with a lovely patio area, sun loungers and garden games. Just a few mins walk and you're on the water front which is perfect for a morning walk. First time here and definitely will not be the last!

Where to begin...? the incredible ever-changing views, the inviting living area, the soft fluffy towels, the thoughtful touches from the owner (even our dog was remembered!), the comfy beds? We had a fantastic week here and looked forward to coming "home" (because it felt like home - not a holiday property) after a cold and wet day out. There are a myriad of lovely walks from the doorstep and although we explored somewhere every day, we feel like we have only scratched the surface. We very rarely go back to a holiday destination but were already talking about booking here again next year in the car on the way home. A perfect place for any time of the year.

Fabulous estuary views, saw an otter from the sitting room, great birding. Very well equipped to a high standard Very friendly hosts Only negative: one of the roof tiles rattles in high winds!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Nigel & Judy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
