“A quiet and short get-away”

Reviewed 21 Jun 2016

We just needed 24 hours away somewhere quiet. Our first choice fell through and this was an alternative suggested by TripAdvisor. Communication with Shirley (owner) was excellent, and we were charmed when we arrived by the farm, its surroundings and very welcoming pair of labradors! All was as you would expect with a B&B - clean, well-equipped and quiet! The pub (top of lane, short walk) is obviously very popular and would need booking - The Fenwick. We had starters in the bar - lovely! The room at the B&B was comfortable and the shower room was larger than most. Breakfast was scrummie - especially the sausages and farm fresh eggs. Nothing was too much trouble for Shirley. I would recommend.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure having you with us and look forward to seeing you on another occasion. Shirley
