"Can't wait to return"

The most relaxing and peaceful holiday I've had. Took 3 dogs and they had a wonderful time. The welcome was warm and helpful and the people in the Lampeter were really friendly. The views are breathtaking and even better after a hike to the top of the hill. We walked in woods and went to the beach. The house was so spacious and yet cozy. The most wonderful thing of all was the silence! Just so peaceful. Recommend this house to anyone who wants a relaxing break, a base for hiking, cycling or just being out in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

"Spacious, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside"

My partner and I have been going to Lanlas farm since 2009 for long weekends off from London as well as full weeks away with the whole family. In winter it's a cosy escape and a lovely place to sit by the fire and read while in summer we've had long walks and gathered round the BBQ for long lazy evenings. The cottages are spacious and well equipped, including a Wii for high family entertainment on rainy days! There are some great things to do nearby, including accessible walks in Cors Caron nature reserve and a 30 minute drive away is beautiful Mwnt bay for those who like a wild swim or a walk along the breathtaking Pembrokeshire coastal path. The new owners have kept the magical feel of Lanlas alive - the gardens are looking great and the animals still provide 24/7 entertainment. I would definitely recommend Lanlas farm cottages for a fantastic break in Wales.

"Cosy, dog friendly cottage"

We found the cottage very comfortable and an easy place to be. Everything practical that you could want was available in the cottage, that makes it really easy to go and stay. We were lovely and warm in the autumnal weather, and enjoyed sitting in front of the fire in the evening. We also enjoyed the gourmet meals from the freezer, so if you don't want to cook you can just whip something very tasty out of the freezer. This was our first trip with our six month old puppy, it was a really good place for the puppy to stay, with an enclosed boundary, though we had to make sure our little dog did not eat the farm chickens!! We took some nice trips out to the coast and Lampeter just up the road had shops for anythign practical that was needed.

"Back to nature"

Lanlas Farm is a great place to stay if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of life - set on the hillside of a beautiful Welsh valley it has a real peace and serenity. Our kids loved all the animals, especially the pigs and Charlie (the dog) also had a great time and loved the superb walks right on the doorstep. Further afield, we explored the stunning Welsh coastline and visited attractions like Cenarth Falls (where you can see Salmon jumping if you're lucky). The accommodation is beautifully clean and has everything you need - they also provide a welcome pack (bread, sausages etc.) for when you arrive. However, this a self-catering accommodation set in a small holding in rural Wales, so if you're adverse to a bit of mud and rain don't bother going, you’re better off sticking to a 4 star hotel - if you’re outdoor types you'll love it. Clive, Cathy and Louise (the owners) are really friendly and very helpful. Overall a great place to stay if you want to recharge your batteries and thoroughly recommended.
