Beach Cotttage is located only a few steps from the beach in a quiet coastal location down a private road with unspoilt views towards the Holy Isle and across Lamlash Bay. The cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped to a high standard, and would make a perfect retreat for couples and families.

The cottage has been newly renovated in November 2014, To include digital underfloor heating, New luxury kitchen and full travertine marble bathroom with wet room shower and a bath for 2 !

The cottage provides comfortable self catering accommodation for up to six people, 2 doubles and 1 twin room, Large living room with wood burning stove, All the rooms in cottage have views to the sea

With a garden to front and rear of property you can sit and relax outside and admire the views, a BBQ will also be available in the summer months...there's no need to venture very far to enjoy your time here.

“Great Views, Great Location, Great size, shame about the damp...”

Having visited the island since childhood we have stayed in many houses and areas, for us this house was one of the best spots being right on the beach and walking distance to the shops and pubs whilst being quiet and out the way of any big roads. The house itself needed work which we expected as we had read previous reviews. What we hadn't expected was one of the bedrooms having such bad damp that the couple in it had to sleep on the sofa. This room is an extension to the house and is actually in the neighbours garden. Other than that the bathroom shower is a wet room style so when someone has a shower the whole room is wet which isn’t ideal but manageable. Lastly the kitchen wasn’t very well equipped, apparently the house had been sold and was changing hands that week so perhaps they had just left the bare essentials but only having 3 wines glasses for 6 people wasn’t great. Value for money is good. Would I stay again, yes but not with 6 people unless the damp was sorted! Overall we had a good stay :)

Beautiful location, right in the beach. Views to die for. The cottage itself has a lovely back garden with barbecue should the weather allow, spacious kitchen, cosy and welcoming living/dining area, modern downstairs bathroom, good sized downstairs spare room, and upstairs houses two big rooms, one twin and one double, each with stunning views out over the beach. If you like scenery, being close to but removed slightly from the main road, and beach walks - this place is for you. Can't recommend highly enough and we will be returning when we can.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
