SOUTH WEST detached eco 4 bedroom/4 bathroom property (270m2) was featured in “House and Garden" Magazine, described as "the most striking modernist house in Cotswolds, extraordinary property with first class catering on tap".

In July 2010 "The Times", described it as" in top 20 best waterside developments in Europe, offering the latest in eco design and luxury". Larchwood Lodge was extensively covered in September 2010 issue of Essential Kitchen Bathroom & Bedroom. Sixteen pages of pictures and editorial, the biggest coverage ever received in the life of this prestigious magazine.

Described as a stunning “House on the Lake” with spectacular views, one of the most luxurious developments in the country. Most recently “Larchwood Lodge featured in Sunday Times 50 Coolest UK Cottages: “Eco-chic Larchwood Lodge is basically a photo shoot waiting to happen. It's on a sustainable development designed by the likes of Jade Jagger, Kelly Hoppen and Philippe Starck, set in 650 acres of clear-water lakes and ancient woodlands — yet it's within 15 minutes of the cutest of Cotswolds towns, Bourton-on-the-Water.”The latest coverage we have received was in a prestigious London's “City Square Mile Magazine” descried as “Larchwood Lodge is a monolithic masterpiece: a design so grand that it would have Kevin McCloud reaching for similes from the sky, a relatively modest four-bed, four-bath count – however, given that one of those bedrooms doubles up as a cinema room and another has a surface area larger than most people's flats, it's by no means a meagre affair”

Within the grounds you will find a basketball court, children's play area and tree house. The spa is set in an orchard and arboretum of apple, plum, cherry, giant redwood, copper beech and whitebeam. The Cotswolds region

Online magazine AskMen has compiled a list of the top ten 'paradise' locations around the world that seem to have remained untouched by civilisation. The Cotswolds is 2nd Place!

The region is famous for its ancient mellow 'honey' coloured limestone villages that blend perfectly into the countryside and its bustling market towns. Many have scarcely altered since they grew up on the prosperity of the medieval wool trade in the 15th and 16th centuries and subsequently forgotten about for more then 300 years. This sequence of events now makes the Cotswolds region one of the most treasured, toured and vacationed in England and the UK for nowhere else will you see such timeless uniqueness and heart warming preservation on such a scale.

Many traditional villages within 15 minutes reach, offering tradition combined with chic

Ideal for antique hunters :visit the charming villages of Bourton on the Water (the Venice of the Cotswolds), Burford, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh and Chipping Camden (plus many others), the larger spa towns of Bath (a World Heritage Site) and Cheltenham (famed for it's beautiful Regency

architecture) or Oxford (the city of dreaming spires) and Stratford upon Avon just over 1 hour away.

For those looking for a bargain, Bicester Village offers most sought-after brands at prices reduced by up to 60%

A fantastic property, and all round experience - one that (...incredibly!) fully lives up to the high expectations set by the many other positive reviews. Extremely well managed support also provided by the owners. Faultless - and highly recommended.

"A beautiful house with stunning views! A very relaxing time had by all."

Me my husband and our 3 boys (20, 17, 11) stayed in this beautiful house Monday-Monday. My husband and our sons loved going out on the lake in the canoes provided by the house while I relaxed on the decking watching over them. to wake up to the view over the lake was just breathtaking. The swimming pool and gym are very nice and well looked after in fact the whole grounds are very well kept. The house was very clean and well equipped, very comfortable the décor was stunning. Even thou there are a few other houses on the same lake they are very well spaced so it still feels very private and peaceful. My 11 year old keeps asking when we can go back so we are definitely going to be returning! what an amazing find! we will definitely be recommending to everyone.

"Outstanding weekend in beautiful surroundings"

We stayed at Larchwood Lodge for the weekend and had a brilliant time. The Lodge is amazing and really does have that "wow" factor. The Lodge is spacious and spotlessly clean. The owners certainly have great taste, it is decorated and furnished to the highest standards, The kitchen is very well equipped, it was a joy to stay in and cook a special meal for the family. The bedrooms are fantastic with en suites and nice comfy beds, all overlooking the lake. It was a joy to wake up in the morning and see the swans swimming elegantly past the window. Having one of the double bedrooms and shower room on the ground floor is very convenient. The decking that runs the full length of the Lodge is also very well furnished and has a large barbeque. You could not wish for a more idyllic setting. There is plenty to see and do around the complex with nice walks and an amazing Spa. We also really enjoyed going out on the lake in the rowing boats and kayaks. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home, a great time was had by us all.

"Fabulous lake house that met our expectations & so much more!"

We have just returned from a brilliant three night stay at Larchwood Lodge. Celebrating our friends birthday. Where to start? We arrived a little earlier than expected and the house was ready for us - immaculate, beautiful and with everything you could wish for - ready and waiting. There are four stunning bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms, a huge open plan living area and large deck/balcony with breath taking views over the lake. Once we had got our breath back, the very welcome Champagne was opened and our celebrations began! I cannot remember how many times we repeated to each other how stunning the view over the lake is - you get this view from every single room in the house, it is truly spectacular. There are numerous things about the house that we were impressed with - the well stocked kitchen - the comfy beds - beautiful decor throughout - the peaceful setting - canoes and life jackets - large BBQ (didn't use this but may have done had we realised) - champagne on arrival - the swan & baby ducklings I could go on and on (& on). A highlight during our stay was eating out on the deck on Saturday evening. We had made plans to go out for dinner, but the deck has its own sun trap and we just couldn't imagine anywhere we'd rather be in the world than together overlooking this beautiful lake. (There's a huge table inside and outside which is another definite bonus). We spent the evening eating, drinking, laughing and as the sun set again we couldn't get over the perfect setting and fabulous house. We did manage to drag ourselves out a couple of times. We went for a walk through the fabulous grounds ... It's easy to get lost - be warned!! The lovely security man came to our rescue & helped us home with tales of him being a Gurkha!!! We met Mikey at the spa too who was very friendly and helpful. We also ventured into Boughton on the water for Sunday lunch & a cream tea. Lovely as that is, we were again pleased to arrive back to our lovely base and again spent Sunday evening watching the sun setting from our balcony. Wonderful weekend at Larchwood Lodge which I think would be very difficult to beat, anywhere! One word to describe the whole experience would be AMAZING. Thank you to the owners for sharing it with us .... I certainly wouldn't be brave enough to rent it out, so thank you! We dream of returning one day (the sooner the better).

"Great setting for a surprise 60th celebration!"

Thank you so much to all the team who helped in making our weekend at Larchwood such a wonderful one. The lodge is fantastic, its very well equipped and the attention to detail is superb. The spa is beautiful and it was really good to be able to use it. All in all a really great place to celebrate my dad’s surprise getaway!

"Perfect in every way!"

Larchwood Lodge is absolutely gorgeous - from the minute we arrived we were impressed. Having a luxurious hamper of goodies to greet us with a bottle of chilled champagne certainly eased away the stress of a long drive. Sumptuous interiors, with everything you could ask for from toys for the kids, an impressive cinema screen, molton brown products everywhere, a well stocked kitchen, to up to date magazines to enjoy whilst relaxing in the egg chairs. I want to go back now! The on-site spa was excellent, our children loved the pool and spent hours in there. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our party of 4 adults and 3 children had a wonderful stay. We hope to return in the summer months and make use of the lake. Many thanks to Kasha for a wonderful holiday home.

"Relaxing Retreat from the Concrete Jungle"

My husband and I live in the heart of London in what I like to call "the concrete jungle." We recently took a trip to the Cotswolds and stayed at the Larchwood Lodge. As we entered the property grounds I could feel my entire body relax. The smell of the fresh, crisp air cleansed us and the gorgeous fall colors brought smiles to our faces. When entering the home we found a welcome basket and bottle of champagne. It was a lovely touch. During our stay we took advantage of some of the services offered and indulged in the use of a private chef and a masseuse for an in-home treatment. They truly added to the experience. As someone who runs a travel consulting business, I would confidently recommend Larchwood Lodge to my clients and friends.

"Five Star Stay"

I cant rate this place highly enough and would recommend to anyone! The house is beautifully designed with huge glass windows overlooking the lake. It literally had everything you could possibly need, from a really well equipped kitchen to private kayaks to take on the lake. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also beautifully designed and everyone had amazing views of the lake. The house was spotless when we arrived and there was a great welcome basket. Outside the grounds were beautifully kept and really quiet. The club house and spa where so relaxing and we were the only ones there. The masseuse Karen, that is recommended by Kasha was excellent. She came over for the morning and set up in one of the room and everyone who had them said she gave a great massage/facials. It was also very easy to book, and Kasha was incredibly helpful, fast at answering all e-mail questions and really nice when we spoke on the phone. I will definitely be back!
