“Absolutely amazing”

Reviewed 5 Nov 2015

We had such a wonderful time at the White willow lodge. It was relaxing and very tranquil. The views were breath taking, especially in the evening and the overall vibe was great. We loved our time here and would recommend this lake house to everyone

“An amazing property with breath taking scenary.”

Reviewed 1 Mar 2015

From start to finish the experience was first class. The property owner was professional and extremely helpful. The property was easy to find and in a secure location. We were amazed with the Lodge and it was even better than the pictures on the website. Spacious, luxurious and everything you would need was available. Booking the spa induction and using the facilities were very easy and well worth using. The views from all over the lodge are stunning and so tranquil. It is well worth a visit and we are planning our next visit already!

“Stunning Location!”

We had a wonderful time staying here, it was such a cosy place. In a wonderful setting and a real get away from it all. If you want to escape the city and get some real rest and recuperation I highly recommend you stay here!

“The most amazing trip of my life.”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2015

It was an absolutely amazing stay and a hugely amazing trip and definitely worth it. We went for a winters walk out down by the bird hide and went down to the beautiful Coln river. As I am obsessed with fishing, I fished off of the lodge pontoon and caught a brown trout in Hunstmans Lake. I also fly fished a grayling down on the Coln river. The kids loved the swimming pool and the location was brilliant for taking long morning walks. The house was beautiful, spacious, with amazing views. It had everything we needed and plenty of rooms for everyone to eat, chat and relax. We loved curling up around the fire. Overall it was brilliant and would definitely recommend it to others looking for the perfect country retreat.

“Absolute perfection”

White Willow Lodge is stunning - an absolutely perfect place for a weekend away with friends. The decor is gorgeous, from the amazing top floor bedroom and bathroom, to the open plan living and kitchen area downstairs, every detail has been thought of. The terrace with the egg chair was a hit with everyone - we spent a lot of time relaxing in there! We also used the kayaks throughout the weekend and had lots of fun out on the lake. The spa area was also lovely, with a huge swimming pool, lovely relaxation area, and a hot tub outside (which was actually more of a 'warm' tub!). Ten of us stayed here to celebrate our friends 40th birthday, and all of us agreed that we would definitely return again at some point in the future. Highly recommended!

“Wow this place is amazing”

We walk in and we all went WOW the house the view are just amazing, The bedrooms all have full length windows so you feel like you are on the lake from your bed, The spa is fantastic, we had a fantastic stay we went for my 50th with my 3 sons in there twenties and friends and we all want to go back it had everything you could want from a weekend away, we also went out for a great meal in a local restaurant too. A must go !

“Everything you could need for a perfect weekend”

Reviewed 21 May 2014

I rented this house for a weekend away with the girls. The location was even better than the pictures; its peaceful and sits right on the lake. There are other houses around but there is enough space between house for privacy. Our morning swim in the lake was a bit chilly but the water is crystal clear. There were Kayaks and all the equipment readily available to use. The spa facilities on site were brilliant. Everyone was really helpful . Definitely try the zip wire iover the lake if you can. We had a really great weekend and wished we could have stayed longer.

“A little piece of heaven in the Cotswolds”

Reviewed 19 May 2014

White Willow Lodge is simply breath taking. Stylishly decorated, stunning location, great facilities including the use of a rowing boat for fishing and kayaks; a truly perfect place to get away from normal life and relax. We have just returned from a short break at White Willow with family and had a fantastic time. The accommodation is spacious but yet still feels cosy at night when the fire is lit (we didn't really need it but couldn't resist lighting the wood burner each night). Although we had planned to do a bit of sight seeing, we preferred to make the most of our time at the Lodge so didn't venture very far. It is just the perfect place to sit and relax and watch the many fish swimming and jumping in the lake. Our thanks to Caroline for such a perfect stay.

“Gorgeous house overlooking a beautiful lake in the Cotswolds”

Reviewed 5 May 2014

We went for a long weekend with our kids and friends to this beautiful house. The location is wonderful and only 90 minutes door to door from London. The house overlooks a lake which makes for wonderful views. The private estate it sits within has lots of facilities for the family to enjoy - fishing, zip wire over one of the lakes, swimming in the pool or the lakes, a spa and gym, cycling, canoeing and more. We were there for 2 days but could have happily stayed for a week or longer, there's so much to do. The house itself is luxurious, lots of space to be together in but also more than enough space to enjoy some quiet time away from the rest in. The ground floor is a large open plan space with a modern kitchen with evertything you need in it, a large dining table (we comfortably sat with 11 at the table), a seating area with comfortable sofas by a big fireplace, and a tv corner. There is also a cupboard with games and dvd's etc. On the 1st floor there are several bedrooms and bathrooms - all modern, stylish and comfortable. The master bedroom and ensuite is on the 2nd floor and is absolutely gorgeous. We loved the house, location and facilities and also very much enjoyed the handy tips that the owners share in a folder for everyone who visits. We enjyed a fantastic sunday lunch at one of the locations they recommended. All in all, everyone loved it.

“Great place for a peaceful weekend of luxurious indulgence”

Reviewed 17 Mar 2014

Wow! I recently got back from the most restful weekend ever! Stresses immediately melted away as I drove through the forest to find White Willow Lodge. It's position, with the lake immediately outside was absolutely stunning and the interior didn't disappoint either. It had been beautifully designed with every last thing considerded. We enjoyed walking and cycling through the forest and had a great visit to the on site gym, pool and steam room which were clearly very well maintained. Caroline had kindly recommended a fantastic chef who came to the house to cook a delicious supper and a few of us treated ourselves with a fabulous massage in the comfort of our own bedrooms. It was the perfect place to get away from it all in absolute tranquility and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I'd love to return in the summer when I'm sure the deck over the lake comes into it's own.
