"What a fantastic Place"
We stayed in the Casa Sol Cottage and it was lovely, the cottages have been restored beautifully in keeping with their original charm and the views are second to nun. The little village with all the cottage is so lovely and you can walk down to the lake and two or three restaurants. My husband and I loved the place and we would stay there again.

"Lovely rural peaceful retreat"
Our stay at Los Castilljos was our first trip away with our 8 month old son. We stayed in Casa Sol. It's a lovely 2 bedroomed house with lounge and kitchen/diner. Very peaceful. Lovely grounds. Paul and his family were really friendly. We were invited to a great Saturday afternoon get together with their Spanish friends where Paul fired up the old pizza oven in the courtyard area and made the most amazing pizzas. The accommodation doesn't have a tv which we loved. We spent evenings listening to music and reading all the books we'd stockpiled since our son was born! Lovely wood burner in th ecorner. We collected wood from the surrounding area and sparked it up if it was a cold evening. It's easy to walk down a track to two restaurants at the bottom of the hill (takes about 5 minutes) and then a 15 minute walk up the hill to Los Romanos to a really lovely restaurant. You do need a car to get around but it's worthwhile as there are nice villages, countryside and beaches to visit near by. We'll definitely be going back sometime probably with more family and friends.
