Description

The property is only 4yrs old and is decorated to a very high standard. All rooms are double spacious rooms with ensuite. All amenities are within walking distance. If you are a Golfer then you will be staying in the right place. Views of the Lahinch Golf Course can be seen from all windows in the house.

There is 2 Bedrooms downstairs and 5 bedrooms upstairs. There is a large sitting room and dining room with 2 large dining tables. The house is totally enclosed with a gate, which makes it safe for children. There is a large carpark with secure parking. The house has excellent self catering facilities is double oven, american fridge and 12 seater dining room, with additional chairs. The house is suitable for Golfers as the house overlooks the Campionship course and small 18 hole course. It is also suitable for Surfers who are visiting Lahinch to surf the waves. We have catered in the past for large groups of surfers. The house is also suitable to families who want to relax and enjoy the facilities of Lahinch with their children. The holiday homes is very popular with American tourists who enjoy visiting Lahinch. There is access to 7 TVs in the house.

Getting around

Mini buses are available if guests would like to explore the area or go to surrounding golf courses in the area ie Thrump Golf Course or Ballybunion. There is also the local world famous Cliffs of Moher which is only a 10 minute drive from Lahinch. Please see guest book in house.

“Family Getaway”

My father was born in Lahinch so we brought him back to celebrate his 90th birthday. There were 12 of us in our group and the house was a perfect size to accommodate us. We each had a double room with ensuite. The large dining area was perfect for us all to enjoy family meals. The house is next to two golf courses which one member of our group made great use of! The house is also within walking distance of Lahinch with its lovely beach,bars and restaurants. Tasty Station and O’ Looney’s are two great spots. We had a fantastic week and I would recommend Klondell house as a perfect place to stay in Lahinch for large groups.

Lovely house but extremely cold when we arrived. Would have been nice to have a welcome pack in the house with instructions for heating & ovens etc. A couple of pieces of broken furniture downstairs but overall a lovely stay

Travelled with large family group from England. Great location for beach, cafes and bars. Also near enough to Ennis to enjoy some of the Fleadh Cheoil in the evenings. Really enjoyed this extremely spacious, clean property and would recommend it to other large groups.

“Wedding Base Camp”

Housing my parents, sister, brothers, their spouses and children was a stressful proposition form the beginning. My youngest brother has three children and neither he, his wife or the children had been out of the country before. The Klondell House fit the bill despite not having Wi-Fi. Lahinch was the right place to relax and central to many of the activities and sights we wanted to do and see. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

I stayed here recently for a weekend with a group of girls. From the start to the finish it was the most enjoyable stay. Everything you could possibly think of was in the house - and plenty of everything! A short stroll from town but contact details for a local taxi supplied also - very handy. Views are fabulous - it feels as if you are actually on the golf course!! So spacious, all rooms en suite which is a major plus for a girls weekend away. Already planning a return trip - would definitely recommend!!

Our group of 5 spent 3 nights at Klondell House in May 2014. Location is ideal with golf course across the street and 'downtown' Lahinch less than 10 minutes walk. House is well-equipped, clean and spacious. The only issue for our group was the lack of wifi. Highly recommended.

I was on a surfing weekend and klondell house was perfect size for the group and a very good price . The house has everything you need and very high spec I would highly recommend this location to stay at and very close to Lahinch town, golf couse and the beach

The house was very clean and each room had ensuite facilities. It was a perfect base, with plenty of room to cater for 14 adults, ranging in age from 19 to 57 with one child aged 2. There were excellent facilities in the kitchen with an American style fridge and a good patio area with barbeque, The house is beside Lahinch Golf Club and is within easy walking distance to the shops,restaurants and bars. I have no hesitation in recommending Klondell House.

Fantastic, spacious house with en- suite in every room. There are double beds in all rooms and no twin beds as advertised but this made no difference to us but to be aware. Walking distance to Lahinch. Would stay here again without hesitation.

“Perfect for a large group”

Spent a great weekend in February at this house. Really recommend it for large groups, there is so much space that it never felt crowded which was helped by each room having an ensuite. Location is perfect as well, less that 10 minute walk from the town. Very minor gripes would be that hot water ran out quite quickly (we were only 7 people so well under capacity for the house) and the house was a little cold when we arrived - all things which could be ironed out very easily and the cold would not be an issue in summer time.
