Large patio doors onto huge balcony overlooking Lagos and the sea complete with very luxurious outside seating for 12 with table and umbrella and a 'lazy susan' to help with those larger family meals.

A library of paperbacks, DVDs and toys/games for children is also provided Extra fully equipped large kitchen with tables and chairs, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer cutlery, crockery etc.

The Algarve region

Omont Cristi is located approximately 4 km from the historic town of Lagos which was the capital of the Algarve from 1578 until 1756 leaving a legacy of stunning Churches and winding streets, not to mention the original city walls and harbour. A more recent addition is the town's stunning modern marina where the rich and famous keep their yachts for those summer adventures and local fishermen cast off to catch sardines and other local fish which can be sampled in Lagos' many fantastic restaurants.

Lagos is also home to many shops and boutiques which you'll take at least a day to get through.

In the other direction, Luz with its vast expanse of beach and palm lined promenade is 3 km away, and here you will find more restaurants, shops/boutiques and the renowned water sports centre.

Lagos/Funchal Ridge area

The Western Algarve is famous for it's clean air, traditional food and wine, and historic beauty spots but of course, it 's most popular attractions are it's huge range of sandy beaches. Whether it is basking on miles of sand on the south coast, or exploring the rugged West Coast's secret coves either by boat trip or by car and making the most of the Atlantic's rolling surf, we are sure you will find these beaches the most beautiful in the Algarve.

Lagos has a myriad of cafes and restaurants spilling onto the street giving you a fantastic choice of cuisine. Most people like to wander the streets after dinner and browse at the local street craft stalls or to watch the street theatre and jugglers or sit and have a cool cocktail and be entertained by buskers.

Lagos

In addition to shopping, eating and soaking up the sun and the local culture, Lagos and Luz have a wide variety of activities to do, and things to see. Lagos has a number of museums, there are a myriad of boat trips to be experienced(including dolphin watching), there is an interesting zoo, the cultural centre in Lagos has a good selection of plays and other theatrical pursuits to be enjoyed.

In Luz, there is a watersports centre offering surfing, kayaking, canoeing, banana boating and between the two towns there are plenty of riding, golfing (the nearest being 2 km away at Boavista Championship golf course), walking, sight seeing, tennis and other sporting activities

Within a 15-30 minute drive there are water parks, the Formula race track at Portimao, go Karting, off road Jeep driving and so on. A full information pack of what to do, where to go and what to see and eat is provided to guests on final payment to help them plan their holiday.
