" We love the relative isolation of Quinta Sao Roque where we can relax by the pool with our children and grandchildren. With a golf course next door, the beach nearby and the lovely town of Lagos a ten minute drive away, we've been returning to this fantastic apartment for more years than we care to remember. A spacious and luxurious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom ground floor apartment situated within an exclusive development (Quinta de Sao Roque) of 4 apartment blocks and 17 town houses.

The apartment comprises:

Master bedroom with large double bed, en-suite and balcony. Two additional twin bedrooms sharing the main bathroom. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and both bathrooms are fully equipped including showers.

Open plan living area incorporating lounge and dining facilities and leading onto a spacious balcony overlooking the main pool.

The apartment ideally sleeps 6 people, however 2 extra people can be accommodated on the double sofa bed in the living room.

Although the apartment can sleep 8 through use of the double sofa bed in the living room, we would recommend a maximum of 6 adults only to make the most of our spacious apartment.

Open plan living area with separate lounge and dining areas.

Satellite TV (Currently not available - June 14), Video, DVD & CD player & IPod docking station.

The Cot listed is a travel Cot.

Wood burning fire in living room and heating to all bedrooms.

Additional kitchen facilities include a juicer and cafetiere.

Several books, DVD's, games and children's beach toys also available

Wi-Fi available outside the Reception Building roughly 50m away (not available within the apartment itself)

The apartment is set within landscaped sub-tropical gardens with two separate communal swimming pools, including one for younger children.

The apartment has a spacious balcony equipped with gas fired barbecue, dining tables (seats 8) and 2 sun loungers.

There is also the use of a communal rooftop terrace which overlooks the Bay of Lagos, where you can sunbathe or just relax and enjoy the view.

The Algarve region

Quinta de Sao Roque is just 3km from Lagos, sitting in the hills overlooking the Bay of Lagos and the golden sands of the Meia Praia beach, with the Monchique mountains to the North.

It is an ideal base from which to explore the historic Western Algarve with its numerous coastal and mountain villages and experience the Portuguese way of life.

There are many secluded beaches and coves in the area and the coast to the west of Lagos has become extremely popular with surfers.

Lagos is also an excellent base for golfers. Palmares is only 1km away and there are 7 other courses within a short drive. In addition, all guests can enjoy a 30% discount off green fees at Parque de Floresta (tee times can be arranged through on-site reception).

Lagos

The historic port of Lagos is just 3km away, with it's cobbled streets, modern marina, colourful open air and covered markets, lively bars and restaurants serving both local and international cuisine.

The 4.5km long Meia Praia beach is only a 10 minute walk from the apartment. There are several beach bars where you can sample freshly caught fish or simply relax with a drink.
