Casa Salini overlooking Lake Iseo, is situated in its most beautiful point, Sale Marasino, in front of Monte Isola.
Casa Salini is the ideal place for those who love nature, tranquility and good food. A place that allows you to isolate yourself, without departing too much from reality, because of the proximity to Brescia, Milan, Orio al Serio airport and other places of great cultural and gastronomic importance. It is also the ideal place for the athletic ones: in a few minutes it is possible to reach a sailing center, a paragliding center, golf clubs, several riding stables, cycle and skating path. In winter ski slopes are only a half hour away.
Nearby Casa salini there are many areas of interest in food, wine and art. Franciacorta, known for high quality wines, Boario important for its thermal facilities, Zone, famous for stone pyramids, Vallecamonica and Pisogne, known for rock carvings and frescoes by Romanino ... and do not forget that Casa Salini is right in front of Monte Isola that you can reach with a romantic boat. Talking about food I'd like to point out the TRAIN OF FLAVORS (il treno dei sapori), that allows passengers to enjoy the magnificent scenery offered by the territories of Franciacorta, Lake Iseo and Valcamonica, enjoying at the same time typical local menu and wines, served by certified Sommelier.

The Lombardy region
Second largest city in Lombardy , Brescia, is located at the foot of the Alps. Rich in history, architecture and art, is a UNESCO world heritage site. Brescia, also known as the " Lioness of Italy " , is modern , active and dynamic , but with a keen eye, easily reveals deep traces of the past, that makes it the center of great cultural interest. Along with the more recent constructions live the dynamism of the elegant promenade , the colorful and lively streets and popular districts , the voice of the fountains, the majestic palaces and old houses , the quiet cloisters , the devout silence of the churches, the preciousness enclosed in museums.
Enclosed by high mountains that sometimes exceed three thousand meters, this valley has always attracted tourists who love winter sports and history. Vallecamonica, valley of the Rhaetian Alps crossed by Oglio river, rises in Passo Gavia and stretches between the Orobian Alps on the west and the Adamello on the est. Vallecamonica communicates with the Noce valley through Passo del Tonale and with Valtellina through Passo Aprica. It includes two natural parks: Stelvio and Adamello.Four stations for winter sports, Monte Campione, Tonale, Borno and Ponte di Legno have been enriched in the last years. Descending from Edolo and Breno woods and grazings leave the place to the Lake of Iseo, grapes, fruits and ceraels farmings.
World Heritage (UNESCO) not to be missed are the rock carvings from the Bronze Age in the territory of the municipalities of Capo di Ponte, Nardo and Cimbergo.
Lago D'Iseo - FranciacortaFranciacorta is a hilly area , located at the south of Lake of Iseo . This area is bounded on the east by rocky and morenic hills, on the west by the Oglio River, on the north by the shores of Lake of Iseo and by the Rhaetian Alps. Franciacorta has an incredible prosperity of minerals, that provide a basis for an excellent viticulture.
The wine produced on these hills have always enjoyed a good reputation since ancient times. This is confirmed by the quotations of the Latin classics Pliny the Elder, Columella , Virgil , the treatises of the sixteenth century written by Andrea Bacci and Agostino Gallo. Despite the long history of winemaking of Franciacorta, the wine viticulture starts, to all effects, at the beginning of the 60s. Franciacorta is definitely worth a trip for its wines , but once arrived, you will find much more than the famous bubbles of Franciacorta.
The pearl of Lake Iseo is the largest lake island in Europe. Inevitably, those who arrive in this place would not leave it any more, because you are magically and inexorably enmeshed by fishermen villages, that time has jealously guarded , protecting them from the excesses of the neighboring towns. You are immediately caught by the desire to look around, to advance into the streets , listening to the water that warely rock the “naet”, the old fishing boats. And the talking becomes slowly and the voice whispered, as when you are in a holy place. The coastal perimeter of the island is 11 kilometers and has a population of over 12 historic centers : the capital village Siviano, Carzano, Masse, Cure, Menzino , Ried , Olzano , Peschiera Maraglio , Porto di Siviano , Sensole , Senzano e Sinchignano. In Monte Isola cars are not allowed , the only way to see the island is by bike or by bus. Those who have well trained legs can walk along the coast road enjoying the green quiet of the intense fragrance of the lake and spectacular panoramic views. In the island's highest point at 600 meters high, in the locality of Cure, is the Ceriola Shrine, from where the view is astonishing .
