With a length of 10 km and a difference of 848 min altitude, La Tzoumaz's famous toboggan run is extremely long and fairly fast!. Tobogganing events are held each Friday and Saturday full moon in January, February and March including fondue at the mountain restaurant in Savoleyres. The La Tzoumaz ski school runs lessons every day of the winter season. Full details about lift prices, ski lessons and weekly ski courses are detailed on the Tzoumaz booking portal. Heli skiing is available at Croix de Coeurs, the alpine peak located between La Tzoumaz and Verbier.Getting to the slopesChalet Alexia is most practical if you have a car. The chalet is located 300m below the lift and the village. It's a steep walk up hill with your skis - not easy for children, but doable for adults. Good skiers can then ski back from the pistes to the front door. If you're not up for the walk, the easiest way is to drive to the large parking located above the children's ski school, park the car and ski down to the lift. You can then ski back to the car at the end of the day.

“Chalet Alexia, may many people enjoy their stay also like me!”

Reviewed 20 Nov 2014

We visited Chalet Alexia with two families in the autumn. The chalet looked the same as shown in the pictures and the description. Nice, warm, cozy, comfortable, and luxurious. I personal loved it immediately. Fire wood plenty, and what a fireplace! The surroundings are very beautiful, clean and the air feels smooth. For the grocery we visited the Proxy supermarket. I recommend “hotel restaurant de la poste la tzoumaz” for a nice dinner. Our aim was to have an sportive holiday. And that was possible! We used the area to sport. Use the surroundings to train. Biking, walking, running, climbing a mountain, it`s all in your surroundings Thirst? You can drink immediately from the creek. I wish all other guests the same pleasure I had. When you leave, i`m sure you will go back to Swisse. The chalet will be there and wait for you again…

We feel very very happy that you enjoyed the chalet and the local environment so much. It is indeed a magical place to be.

“Superb house and 100% mountain experience”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2013

We where with six people, the house was really beautiful and all to a very high standard!! La Tzoumaz is only a very quiet resort, but you'll need all your time to enjoy the house. The kitchen/dining room has a lovely large table for communal eating. The views across the valley from the kitchin, lounge and dinning areas are stunning. Beautifull sleeping- and bathrooms . The service of the owners was very good and reliable. Is there nothing that good be better? Maybe to reach the house in the winter with your luggage, the ski-area of La Tzoumaz is relatively small and the connection with Verbier could be better. In La Tzoumaz is only one nice apres-ski location, that is Vito's, but do you need more??

I am delighted that you and your family enjoyed your stay and loved the quiet family focused experience that La Tzoumaz offers. We recognise that the road access last year was difficult at times and before the winter we will be applying a new top surface which will hopefully make the surface less icy. Do come and see :)

“Beautiful, well equipped, luxurious and spacious chalet.”

Very spacious yet cosy chalet, with lovely views. Really top of the range. Short walk to town, although quite a steep climb. For skis and boots etc a short drive to park at the nursery slopes is very easy.
