The chalet is situated on the side of a valley overlooking the picturesque village of Bourget en Huile. Half an hour from the town of La Rochette and 1 hour from both Albertville and Chambery.
The accomodation is all on the second level offering breathtaking views of the valley. The basement comprises a garge for 1 car, the sauna and a drying room for ski gear. The living area has a well equiped kitchen, lounge area with a foldaway bed, a seperate sleeping area with 2 singles and the bathroom. The front door on this level opens onto a large balcony with table and chairs for al fresco dining. There is also a purpose built bbq in the garden.
Bourget en huile is a dedicated skifond/snowshoe centre. There is alpine skiing less than an hour away by car.

Col du Grand Cucheron, at an elevation of 1,188 metres (3,898 ft), is a mountain pass in the Alps in the department of Savoie in France. The pass crosses the northern end of the Belledonne massif, connecting the Maurienne and Isère valleys. The climb to the col was used on Stage 12 of the 2012 Tour de France.
Mid way between the Col and the pretty town of La Rochette lies the Vallée des Huiles. The village sits in a flat, marshy area with verdant slopes of mixed woodland.
The roads are well maintained and the large towns of Albertville and Chambery are less than an hour away.
From Bourget en Huile you can access a number of ski areas.

A hike on the trails Belledone or a ride cool under spruce forest, cycling on the road that takes you to the Col du Grand Cucheron or exchanges on the communal tennis court, a few tracks on the nearby cliff or just stroll on the trail laid marsh, you will find an activity suitable for your needs at Le Bourget-en -Huile.

Hiking

The Municipality of Le Bourget has shifted in recent years to tourist, leisure and tourism. Many walks can be made ​​during the summer.

Marsh Trail

Recently built, the marsh trail allows you to discover a protected area crossed by the Gelon.
