Welcome to our traditional La Rochelle house, called shop, built in 1889. With a surface of 120 m2, it has been entirely renovated. We wanted to keep her original charm. First I would like to make clear that I have answered your message on the TripAdvisor website straight away, giving you the global price for services and the contact details of the person who would welcome you to the house, asking you to send her a text two hours prior to your arrival to avoid any waiting time on your end and to set the terms of departure, as I always do. For some reason you unfortunately haven't received this message, which has created confusion and I am truly sorry about it. Regarding the general cleaning of the house, if there was any issue you should have let me know after checking in and I would have handled it in a timely manner. The wooden terrace is showing signs of wear indeed, we are planning on rebuilding it soon. The complete instruction leaflets (in all languages) for all electrical appliances are in the kitchen (for the Smeg cooker) and storage room (for the Bosh dishwasher). For recycling and collecting points, there is a detailed leaflet on the door to the storage room but we will make sure to update and enhance the handbook with your remarks. Please rest assured that we are striving for a warm and comfortable welcome for all our guests, as we know how much stress traveling and installing in a new place can induce. We also pay great attention to care for our house and make it a pretty and restful place for everyone.

How do damage deposits work?

If Michele (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
