A typically Provencal style property located in a friendly community with a residents pool. The house is situated in a quiet location with lovely views but it is only a two minute walk in to the village where there is a Boulangerie, Spar supermarket, restaurants and bar/bistro. The sitting room leads out on to a south facing terrace ideal for soaking up the sunshine and outdoor dining. It is suitable for couples and families looking for a good holiday base near St Tropez. There are plenty of excellent well known beaches within a short drive and several historic villages and local markets to visit nearby. The town of Cogolin is just a 10 minute drive and here you will find an array of restaurants, cafes and shops including a huge well stocked supermarket. Our keyholder lives nearby and is happy to provide local information and answer any queries during your stay. The price is all inclusive, there are no extra charges other than bath towels if required.

The property is brand new and is adjacent to a new large pool, the village of la mole is on the doorstep, 2 mins walk and you are part of the local community.

La Mole features many good restaurants including the famous l'auberge de la mole, frequented by the rich and famous.

Boulangerie, supermarket, hairdressers, post office all in the village.

Private parking available.

Larger towns a very short drive away. (eg Cogolin 9km)

The Provence region

The city of Toulon, about a 30 minute drive from La Mole, is the capital of the department and is situated in one of the most beautiful bays in the world. The surrounding vineyards produce some of the region's most renowned wines.

Travelling from Toulon towards St Tropez you will reach Hyères which marks the start of the celebrated Cote d'Azur and is known as Hyeres Les Palmiers due to the hundreds of palm trees that line the sreets. Hyeres also hosts an airport with regular flights from Stansted as well as being the main departure point for ferries to the nearby Iles d'Or. The Iles d'Or consist of three islands, Port Cross being the smallest. The entire island is a national park, no cars are allowed and the natural beauty both on land and underwater is astonishing.

The whole area is a popular destination for Europe's rich and famous.

Also great for motorcycling and cycling.

La Mole

This peaceful village is set in the heart of the Maures mountains and is very close to the sea. Surrounded by a pretty forest, La Mole is well located for walking and cycling: at the top of the hill, on the rock of St. Madeleine, and north of the present village, are the ruins of the original community of La Mole and an 11th Century Castle.

La Mole is located 15 kms behind St-Tropez on the “Route des Vins”. It has been a popular location for celebrities over the years because of the wonderful surroundings and the proximity of the famous coastal resorts such as St Tropez, Nice and Cannes. Many still visit regularly and can be seen at the renowned “L’Auberge de la Mole” restaurant.

The development is located on the site of an old vineyard just behind the church, in the centre of the village. All the properties are built in the Provencal style incorporating many of the typical features of the region. The landscaped gardens include a pool, the views are stunning.

All the properties have to comply to the strict planning regulations that apply within this protected area ensuring that traditional architecture and materials were used to blend in effortlessly with the existing buildings.

Within a 30 minutes drive there are some of the best beaches on the coast and the Beauvallon golf course is only 20 minutes away. There are plenty of family activities in the area, eg horse riding, animal and plant sanctuaries and activity parks.

There is an airport at Hyeres, which is only 40 minutes by car (Nice is about 1h30 away).

This is an ideal setting for anyone who loves the countryside but wants to be within easy reach of the sea and coastal resorts of the Var as well as the Alpes Maritimes.
