Description

This property is a 3 bedroom terraced house on a traditional gated complex, just north of Torrevieja. It has great sea views from the roof terrace and is literally over the road from the coastline. We have a young son and so we have done our best to make this as family friendly as possible. We stay here regularly, so if we have needed it, we have left it there! The complex is secure and well maintained, and has a large communal pool. The front downstairs patio is gated and private so great for little ones. We have left a selection of beach toys/boogie boards etc which are kept in the patio storage area free for you to use - less packing! Likewise beach towels are provided.

Transfers from either Alicante or Murcia airports can be arranged for an additional €40 per car, each way.

There is plenty of space for a cot in the master bedroom. There is a travel cot, highchair, pushchair, booster, sterilizer, potty, kids plates etc etc all free of charge. There is English Freesat TV in both the lounge and master bedroom. Air conditioning/heating units are in the lounge and master bedroom, with electric fans in the other two bedrooms. The house was renovated and decorated in 2013 and has a fresh modern style.

In the holiday seasons there is a fair every night along the Torrevieja seafront. La Mata town square also has a smaller fair at weekends.I would recommend checking out the websites such as Torrevieja Forums or Torrevieja information on the web for a list of local fiestas etc. The 3 water parks close by are Aquapolis, Flamingo Park in La Siesta, Aquaparc Rojales. You can drive to Benidorm for a great day out there as the water park is open til 9pm in the summer.Torrevieja is ideally situated about 45 min drive from both Alicante and Murcia (San Javier) airports. It is about an hour south of Benidorm.

La Mata

All along the coast of Torrevieja, you can find beautiful sandy beaches, all of them count on services such as numerous restaurants, bars, cafés, gift shops... The main beaches, such as "Playa del Cura", "Playa de Los Locos", etc., also have play areas, security and watch points, information desks, flags indicating the sea conditions, showers, access for disabled people.There is a large promenade, which links the south of Torrevieja with the north, goes from "Playa de los Náufragos", located in the southern part of Torrevieja, to "Playa de La Mata".Torrevieja has a large ex-pat community from the UK but also the rest of Europe. It is set up for tourists without the "high rise" mentality. The weather is great nearly all year round (we have been surfing at Easter, and paddling at Christmas!) and while it is very relaxed and family friendly, there is still nightlife for younger people willing to stay up later, in the Habeneras area (Oz, Genius etc).It is walking distance to local beaches, shops and local bars and restaurants. There is a regular bus service which costs €1.35 (as of 14/8/16) regardless of length of journey. The stops are on the main road road outside the apartment and can take you into La Mata or Central Torrevieja in minutes.For those who need a shopping fix you have the newly built La Zenia Boulevard with hundreds of shops and entertainment put on at night.

Smoking is allowed outside on the patio/on the roof only. If internal fixtures have to be cleaned because guests have smoked inside the cost of this will be removed from the deposit.
