Compact Double Bed, 6 x Pillows, 2 x Single Duvets, Large Cupboard, and Small Chest of Drawers, Electric Fan, Hoover, Beach set for guests.

BATHROOM:

Toilet, Sink, Bath Tub, Cabinet, Shower and Spin Dryer Machine (Centrifuge)

LOUNGE/KITCHEN:

WIFI (password protected) is fully installed and available for all guests.

TV - Cable TV with 80 Channels, including mostly English selection of BBC 1/2/3, ITV 1/2/3/4, C4, CNN etc.

Sofa Bed, Cabinets x 2, Hair Dryer, Fridge, Gas Oven/Hob, with extra canisters, Electric Water Heater/Boiler, Microwave, Toaster, Plates, Dishes, Pots, Pans, Cups, Glasses, Cutlery and other Utensils.

TERRACE:

Table and chair set, Umbrellas, 2 plastic deck chairs.

*The Terrace is South Facing so enjoys sun most of the day and into the late evening.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:

As we have recently updated the house with some new furniture, accessories, sofa bed and Television,

As we have recently updated the house with some new furniture, accessories, sofa bed and Television, we must now ask guests to note that a Security Deposit is in place on each booking.

Guests should check out by redelivering the keys to the host, whom can check the property to confirm all is well.

OTHER TIPS:

We strongly advise all guests to get in touch with us before they arrive in Spain. As owner I do not live in Spain, but my friend in La Marina takes care of all Check-ins. So it is vital every guest has contact with him to collect keys or be able to inform regarding delays and so forth.

We are flexible with check in/out times, especially if there are no other guests coming or going, but simply ask all guests to keep us informed of any delays or changes to travel plans.

Good Communication with the Host is vital for a pleasant stay at the house, we welcome and encourage your questions as nothing is too small to ask!

The Costa Blanca has Spain's best climate and popular with thousands of holiday makers every year.

The house is located 5 minutes drive from the coast and hosts one of Spain's best beaches in La Marina village. It's also a stones throw from the mountains and spectacular countryside, and close to cities like Murcia, Elche, Alicante and Torrevieja for those of you who are after a bit more city life and shopping opportunities.

“Needs a good clean!”

The house, although small, was in a good location, 5 minutes walk to shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants. However, the house was not very clean, especially the kitchen area. Also crockery and cutlery hadn't been washed properly. I was also unaware that bedding and towels cost an extra €10. I'm not sure that visitors from the UK would bring these items with them! Overall, it is a small but well located property but it really does need to be cleaned more thoroughly before guests check in.

Owner's reply: Hello there Fiona. Thanks very much for the honest review. As you know we are a couple of guys running a sole rental property on a part time basis, myself owning it and living away from Spain, with help from a friend in La Marina. Obviously we try to get it as clean as possible before guests arrive, but sometimes things do get missed. I have just been to La Marina and stayed at the house with my family, and you may be pleased to hear we have made some improvements that would make any future stay a better one. We have basically given the place an update with new furniture (sofa bed, cabinets and accessories), a lick of paint and generally decluttered. The lights and electrics are also being updated shortly too. It's starting to look a lot more homely again now, so please see the new photos I am going to post shortly. Regarding the bedding and towels situation, it is very clear in the house description that we can provide these, but with a small charge of €10. This is something we have been doing for around 2 years now, as we are trying to offer accommodation as well priced as we can, and furthermore some guests like to bring their own. A pleasant property. Well situated in La Marina Urb. The property is approximately a 5 minute walk to shops, supermarket , bars and restaurants. A 12 minute walk to the market. Other amenities are near by. The property was well equipped and had a few provisions available,(the Consum supermarket for the rest). The booking process went very smoothly and great communication from the owner was much appreciated. The property was very good value for money and I was greeted by the owner's representative who provided local information. An added bonus was provision of Wi-Fi, which worked well and allowed me to keep in touch with friends and family etc. With regard to directions to the property, google maps will help, but I suggest that you look for Calle Santa Pola on arrival in the Urb as the property is situated just beside it. The property number is 119, this will help you to find it on arrival.
