Our Luxury beach side upper floor apartment is ideally suited for families and couples alike who enjoy unadulterated luxury beach side holidays at reasonable rates.

You can swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean directly in front of the apartment (perfect for an early morning swim before breakfast!) Or you can swim in the Mar Menor to the rear, which due to it's shallow warm waters make this an ideal environment for families with young children who want to swim or learn to swim in the sea , alternatively there is the private pool area which are all conveniently located right on the doorstep of the apartment.

There are Water sports of all kinds, Jet Skiing, Sailing, Fishing and Diving within easy reach.

For the golfing enthusiasts, there are numerous Championship Golf courses within a short drive, OR, you can just sit back on the balcony, relax and watch the world go by (Glass of wine in hand!) whist taking in the most beautiful uninterrupted views out to sea. The choice is yours!

From the Lounge, main bedroom and kitchen, we overlook miles of uninterrupted stunningly beautiful white sandy beaches, out across the calming waters of the Mediterranean taking in the Isle of Grosa and the yachting channel to and from the Marina.

From the 2 large double bedrooms we also have the additional bonus of each having their own small South West facing balconies looking out over the Mar Menor towards mainland Spain.

For your entertainment, the apartment is also equipped with a 40 inch LCD TV, enabling Satellite UK TV and Radio channels, plus a DVD player.

For those requiring internet facilities, unlimited WiFi is now available on request.

The apartment and apartment block also benefit from being wheelchair friendly, due to the ease of access to the apartments, which are serviced by lifts to all floors.

As would be expected with high end apartments, the communal parts inside and out are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis by a full time caretaker employed by the owners of the apartments, therefore maintaining a much higher standard all round.

For those hiring cars or coming by car, there are plenty of off road car parking spaces around the complex.

A frequent bus service operates up and down the strip connecting you to such historic places as Cartagena and Murcia together with other great places of interest along the way. A stop is conveniently located at the front of the apartments.

A ferry crossing also operates from the Marina on a regular basis connecting you to Santiago del la Ribera with its vibrant weekly street markets steeped in traditional Spanish culture.

A street market also operates on the Marina, Saturday mornings, whereby it is ideal for all your superb quality fruit and veg needs.

Between 22.00-23.00 hrs, there is a charge of 25€, and between 23.00-12.30am €35. payable to the person that meets you with the keys.

Please note there is no check-in between the hours of 12.30am - 07.00am. Key collection arrangements maybe available if made in advance, please request details.

A truly magnificent place for families and couples alike, who enjoy unadulterated laid-back luxury beachside holidays .

The apartment is located within 10 minutes walking distance of the very Cosmopolitan Tomas Maestre Marina with its many high class restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, banks etc.

If beach walking is your interest then you can walk for hours on the beautiful beaches from just outside of the apartment.

If sightseeing and shopping is your thing, the beautiful historic Port and Town of Cartagena and the bustling capital city of Murcia are well worth a visit.

Within a short drive is the world famous La Manga Golf Club Resort, where many of the World's International football teams can often be seen using the 5 star sporting facilities.

If traditional Spain interests you, at the end of the strip there is Cablo de Palos a small fishing village, with its many excellent waterside fish restaurants.

Santiago de la Ribera is another must visit, which can be reached by a leisurely ferry service, operating from the Marina. Experience Spanish culture and cuisine at its very best.

Our holiday home is surrounded by white sandy beaches and the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean and Mar Menor Seas, situated on the unique and beautiful La Manga Strip, reputed to have the best average all year round climate in Spain, boasting an average of 320 days of Sunshine per year!)

The region is blessed by the mild Mediterranean climate, temperatures range between 15 - 22C in winter. Summer temperatures vary between 30 - 40C. The average annual temperature is 18C.

La Manga Strip has a unique position in Europe, between two Seas, the Mediterranean Sea and the crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor.

This part of Spain is famous for its salt lakes which has a major knock on effect on humidity levels, and as a result the air is much dryer than in other parts of Spain & Europe. The low humidity levels coupled with a mild climate, means the World Health Organisation have rated this part of Spain one of the healthiest climates in the world.

At certain times of the year, Flamingos can often be seen at both ends of the strip, feeding in the salt lakes.

We are located directly on the beach at the northern end of the La Manga Strip close to the Marina.

From here you can hire a boat, go scuba diving, fishing etc. There is also a ferry which sails to Santiago de la Ribera every 2 hours and a tour boat which sails into the Med and around the islands in the Mar Menor.

The Marina itself offers a wealth of international restaurants including French, Asian, Italian, Norwegian, Greek, Mexican as well as traditional Spanish restaurant.

The long promenades and boulevards make this an ideal location for Families, the elderly or disabled as well as the most enthusiastic sports enthusiasts. In fact La Manga has something to offer everyone.

During the summer, the beaches offer a wide variety of water-sports, sailing, powerboat trips and scuba diving.

For golfing enthusiasts, we are approximately 25/30 minutes from the world famous La Manga Golf Club and many other renowned Golf Clubs in the area.

For beach lovers. Paradise found! The beaches in La Manga are just beautiful, the Mediterranean beaches and the Mar Menor beaches are just perfect for family holidays.

Everything you need for a self catering luxury get away from it all holiday can be found within easy walking distance, plus there is also a good bus service which operates up and down the strip on a regular basis.

There are also many traditional Street Markets used by the locals and tourists alike, whereby they are great for stocking up on really good quality fruit and veg at really low prices.

The Murcia region

La Manga is situated approximately 80 miles south of Alicante on the Costa Calida and is famous for the La Manga Strip. This unique strip divides the Mediterranean Sea from the natural Lagoon know as The Mar Menor.

The Mar Menor is the largest natural salt water lagoon in Europe and is well known for its shallow warm waters. Due to this the sea is calmer and stays at an average temperature of 18c throughout the year. The climate is very good all year round and is frequently around 90c during the summer months.

The Strip consists of numerous Hotels, Bars, Cafes, Restaurants with beaches on both coastlines.

There are two harbours including the very Cosmopolitan Marina to which there are numerous sailing club and ferries operating to such places as Santiago de Ribera with its weekly street Markets.

Inland from the strip within a short drive away is the World Famous La Manga Golf Complex which is home to a 5 star Hotel, Casino, Bars and Restaurants alongside 3 championship golf courses. It also boasts a top Football Coaching Academy and is also used for training purposes by many of the worlds best Football Clubs, including the England squad.

The beautiful historic City of Cartagena is also only a short drive away with its fabulous shopping and the most beautiful Port and historic Buildings. The port has an interesting boat trip that gives you an insight of the history and local culture.

La Manga Strip

Many of the local beaches on the Mar Menor are well known for the therapeutic clay which can be found by wading out into the water, this is full of minerals and salts and the local folk cover their skin with it and bake in the sun. This is said to be good for skin complaints, rheumatism and arthritis.

There are regular boat and ferry trips from the Marina which is a 10 minute walk away. You can also hire or charter a boat or hire Jet Ski's from the Marina to explore this wonderful coastline.

The Marina itself boasts a wealth of excellent Restaurants, Cafes were you can sit out and enjoy watching the sun going down over the Mar Menor and the mountains beyond.

"This is a perfect apartment! A relaxing holiday in an amazing location."

John (owner) was great right from the beginning and was even able to change our rental dates when our airline company cancelled our flights. The apartment was spotless and has everything needed for our family of 6 with 4 teenagers. Big rooms, comfortable beds and the air-conditioning was a godsend! The views are spectacular with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Lovely warm breeze making it perfect to sit on the balcony for breakfast, lunch or an evening drink. The beaches on either side of the block are spotless and were fairly quiet and the water is warm. There is a supermarket a few minutes walk away with a few restaurants located there and a couple of minutes further to a wide selection of good restaurants and bars at the Marina. There's a Burger King very close by if the children can't live without it. Tony and Hayley keep the apartment immaculate and are very quick to help with any questions. The apartment block seems to be mainly residential so you will not experience any rowdy holidaymakers or late night noise. We took trips to Cartagena, Murcia and Alicante which were all lovely but if you are going, make sure it is outwith Siesta time as most shops close. All in all we had a great time and hopefully we will be back before too long. We travelled with two 19 year olds, a 17 year old and a 14 year old.

"Very well-appointed apartment, excellent location."

Beautifully clean, attractive and very comfortable apartment and the location could not have been bettered - our biggest decision each day was whether to swim in the Med or the Mar Menor - both right on our doorstep. The spacious balcony was perfect for breakfasts watching the sunrise over the islands opposite. Well-stocked supermarket 10m walk away and harbour with decent choice of restaurants. We took the No 15 bus down the strip and walked back up the 12 km on the beach - rewarded with ice-cold Mojitos at the beach bar! The apartment block and pool were spotless and well-maintained. Also the whole area was nice and quiet at this time. There were only two of us, but the apartment would easily provide high quality accommodation for up to six. The owner was very friendly, efficient and quick to reply to queries/e-mails. Very relaxing holiday and a highly recommended property.
