Description

The villa is situated in the peaceful residential area of la capallania , around 3km from the town of Corralejo. There is a supermarket close by and bars and restaurant.

With a southwesterly backdrop of mountain views , a 5 minute drive to the north will bring you to corralejo. The views across the town and beyond to the islands of lobos and lanzarote are quite stunning. Corralejo has many excellent restaurants, bars and shops. It also hosts the Bacu water park which has golf ,ten pin bowling climbing and fabulouse gardens. Beautiful white sandybeaches run from the town on into the famous sand dunes which are a haven for kitesurfers and sunbathers alike.

The villa has a secure decked terrace with BBQ, heated pool, sunbeds and table and chairs. Ideal for relaxing in the sun or dining al fresco.

The spacious interior is light and airy. A fan is available for the hotter months . The kitchen is fully fitted with a granite worktop. Bathroom has a shower fitted over the bath.

The TV has a sky family package, and BBC and ITV channels.

The Canary Islands region

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the canary islands situated around 60 miles off the coast of morocco . Much of the coastline is made up of large stretches of white sandy beaches . The Avenida grandes playas on the north east coast is flanked on both sides for miles by huge sand dunes . The beach side is very popular

with kite surfers , sunbathers and for all types of watersports .

On the north west coast surfing is popular off the rugged beaches north of the old fishing village of El Cotillo . From here , and southwards are some great sandy beaches for sunbathing and swimming .

The islands mountainous interior makes it a great place for hiking , cycling or just exploring and visiting the rural villages dotted around the island .

La Capellania

The peaceful area of la capellania is a 5 min drive away from the main town of Corralejo .A regular bus and Taxi service operates from the exit road , next to the supermarket . A sports bar , tapas bar and internet cafe can also be found here along with a cinema .

A market is held twice weekly on mondays and fridays next to the bacu water park on the way into corralejo . The town has plenty of bars and excellent restaurants many of which line the seafront just before you reach the harbour.

A ferry service runs dailyfrom the harbour to and from lanzarote for shopping trips or sightseeing .

“Total relaxation in a fantastically well equipped villa.”

We stayed at Casa Chris in mid-April and found it to absolutely perfect for what we wanted. The villa itself is well equipped & very clean, with a lovely private garden with decking & heated pool. The sun hits the garden from around 9:30 until early evening, perfect for sun worshippers! We had hired a car to get us in to Corralejo itself, but noticed there's a pretty regular bus service to and from La Capellenia. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed here with our almost 4 yr old son, and had a very enjoyable experience. We especially appreciated the heated pool (some people will tell you pools on the island don't need to be heated in February . All I can say is, those people are made from sterner stuff than myself and my son!) and the fact that the back was private and enclosed. I didn't discover the Sky channels until the third day, but that's my own fault. No, we didn't spend much time watching TV, but with a little one around it's very handy to have as an option between excursions and/or dips in the pool. We would recommend this house to anyone, and hopefully we'll be back again.

I've been on many holidays but this was the best yet. Your own space, the beautiful scenery surrounding the home, the weather! It made 16 hours of travelling completely worth while! We are planning next year already, hopefully for a little bit longer this time.
