The apartment is luxuriously decorated and furnished to 5 star standards. The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen with a large fridge freezer and dishwasher and granite topped work surfaces. There is a separate utility area including washing machine and drying area. The open plan lounge boasts a large flat screen LCD TV with Satelite , sumptuous furnishings and glass extendable dining table with 6 leather chairs. The master bedroom features a superking bed and there are 4 singles in the other two bedrooms. features very smart, clean and opulent surroundings for your holiday. All towels and bedding provided, we require guests to provide their own towels for use at the pool or beach. There is also a safe for your valuables. There is available a small cot / playpen and highchair.

There is a very large balcony / terrace which has an area for al fresco dining with large table and six chairs along with the other portion of the terrace with outdoor 3 piece suite. High quality furnishings inside and out and overlooking the communal pool and gardens with sun loungers already provided. We ask guests to provide their own towels for pool or beach use. Golf is on the doorstep with almost a dozen golf couses within a couple of K's, Mijas Golf 2 X 18 Holes, La Cala 3 X 18 Holes, plus the new Santana, Cala Nova and La Noria courses, not to mention the thirty or more courses along the coast, many within a 15 / 30 minute drive. The Costa del Sol region

La Cala Hills is set between Malaga and Marbella and only 5 minutes away from the resort of Fuengirola, the quaint village of Mijas and the pretty little town of Cala de Mijas which is a 5 minute drive away. There is a very sandy beach here and is ideal for families. The apartment is also within a stones throw of Mijas golf Course and within easy reach of over 30 more. There are many attractions nearby such as Aqua Parks, Tivoli world theme parks, Dolphin trips, African Safari, go Karting, Horseriding and equestrian facilities. A horseracing stadium with nightly shows, live bands, concerts, Irish pub, Pizza and pasta and much more.
The Climate boasts around 325 days of sunshine a year, Hot in the summer and temperate in winter months.
The night life on the Costa del Sol has something for all, with clubs, pubs, sophisticated restaurants and good cheap eateries.

La Cala Hills

La Cala itself is a small and quaint seaside town with a sandy beach and more than its share of restaurants and chiringuitos, (beach fish bars) small side streets and square with shops and a good supermaket, banks good chinese restaurants, steak house, Irish pub. with live entertainment. La Cala market is held on Wednesdays and Fridays and is not to be missed. On this space in La Cala there are often ferias (fairgrounds) Andalucian horses, monster truck shows and more besides. Religious festivals are marked by colouful parades through the streets of La Cala, particularly around Easter and New Year. Many photo's and more information is on our own website.

“Comfortable and spacious apartment in a good complex”

We had stayed in a villa in the La Cala Hills urbanization the previous year so knew what to expect locally. The complex is good and meets the basic needs - a supermarket, three or four bars, and a couple of restaurants (including the excellent Swaghat indian) - if you didn't want to be very adventurous, you could save on car hire / taxis and spend your entire time here. Internally, the apartment was lovely, comfortable and well appointed. It's on the 2nd floor and is on the corner, which meant that there was a large balcony that got the sun in the afternoon. The kitchen has all the appliances you would need. The keys were sent in post prior to our departure which was great as we arrived in the early hours of the morning and there was already some basics in the apartment (toilet rolls, shampoo, washing up liquid etc) which was useful. The gardens surrounding the pool were well maintained and the pool area is fenced off and therefore ideal for those with younger kids. It was never that busy around the pool and there were always sunbeds available during our stay. The apartments seem to be a good mix of local residents, overseas residents and shorter term holiday lets. The grounds and apartments generally were all well maintained.

“Excellent stay in this apartment”

Highly recommend this apartment which is located in the pleasant La Cala Hills area. The apartment itself is large and spacious. A nice feature of this property is the large balcony which is perfect if you want to eat at the apartment or as in our case use it for breakfast whilst grabbing the first rays of the day and for those drinks in the evening as the sun goes down. The temperature at the time of our stay was in the mid to high 30s - even the locals were saying it was hot! - but the very efficient air conditioning made sure we enjoyed a confortable nights sleep. The apartment is very clean and nicely furnished. Liked the art work and nice choice of decor. It is certainly far better than staying in a typical apartment offered by the package operators as it has all the nice personal touches, equipment and bits and bobs that come with it being privately owned accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the lovely large swimming pool. Often we were the only ones in the water which made it feel like your own private pool. The signs around the pool ask that users respect the peace and tranquility that the pool and well maintained colourful gardens offer and this was certainly being observed at the time of our visit which created a very pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. There are a handful of restaurants in the immediate vicinity which we found to be good and we also ventured into Fuengirola a few evenings where there is an extensive choice of eateries. Whenever we phoned for a taxi for one of these evening excursions it arrived at the apartment gate within 5 minutes so no complaints at that service. A hire car is a prerequisite as the apartment is located away from the main town of Fuengirola. It also allowed us to visit the recommended beaches and other locations, the highlights for us being a visit to the village of Mijas high up in the hills and a trip down to Gibraltar. I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the Costa del Sol.

A great light a spacious apartment which has been very well looked after. Very large balcony over looking the beautiful swimming pool and gardens. Excellent communication and details left regarding the apartment. Good air conditioning. Will definitely return and would certainly recommend to others

“Great apartment and ideally suited to surrounding attractions”

We really enjoyed or stay at this terrific apartment. It had all the amenities we wanted including a dishwasher and it was very roomy! The kids enjoyed the pool which was a good size and we were not far from the delightful village of Mijas and the town of Fuengirola which was great for shopping and the Aqua Park. The weather was splendid. We hope to return again in the not too distant future. Thank Paula for all your help making our holiday, so easy to enjoy.

The weather here is usually good all year round and our rates for the apartment are pretty good. A well stocked supermarket with a cafe and a cocktail bar ( summer months only for cocktail bar) is a very short walk away. There is also a bus stop just across the road.
