The house has 3 bedrooms (2 doubles & a twin), plus a permanent Dorset bell tent in the garden with luxurious inflatable mattress's for those who would prefer the romance of a night amongst the stars, or whose children would prefer an adventure without straying too far.
The master bedroom has a private first floor terrace with its own stone staircase, leading straight into the pool.
La Petite Sieste is filled with light from the many south facing French doors & has the best of both worlds by combining character features (lime plaster, stone walls & stair cases, beams, terracotta floors & roofs, real fires etc), with modern bathrooms, kitchens, electrics, plumbing, heating & insulation.
As can be seen from the photographs the house is furnished with antiques many purchased from the nearby & world famous L'isle sur la Sorgue.

La Bruguiere is very close to Uzes (10 minutes), a town of art & history, with its chic boutiques, great restaurants & famous weekly market, it is revered by the French as one of the most elegant towns in France,

We are also central to probably the most enchanting collection of cities in Europe, we are :-

35 minutes to Nimes
45 minutes to Avignon
55 minutes to Arles
65 minutes to Montpellier
75 minutes to Aix-en-Provence

Lovers of the countryside are equally catered for with dramatic river gorges to kayak (Ardeche, Ceze & Gardon) a huge surrounding forest to walk or cycle & mountain ranges on every horizon tempting you towards the Cevennes, Luberon or Alpillies.
The beautiful sand beaches of the Mediterranean are approx. an hour away or do as the French do & wild swim in the local waterfalls & river beaches which are only 20 minutes away.

We really hope you'll love your stay here as much as we do.

We fell in love with Uzes at first sight & I'm sure you will as well (if you haven't already).
For us it comes pretty close to perfect :-
A small medieval town that has kept its soul.
Enough quality tourists to ensure a great choice of restaurants, but not so many that they become the towns raison d'être.
The best market in the world EVER !!!
Located at the centre of probably the most beautiful & culturally rich cluster of cities in Europe.
Day trip distance to the Cote D'Azur
The weather is just about perfect.
Great combination of culture & countryside.
La Bruguiere is a sleepy medieval village, with a beautiful central green bordered by the Chateau, the Marie & Boulodrome.
