Villa Magdalena is located in seaside town of Krk, on the north Adriatic island of same name. Completely renovated and refurnished in 2013, it offers full comforts for 10 persons across its 200sqm and two floors – including 5 bedrooms (all double-bed) and 5 bathrooms, a modern fully-equiped kitchen, spacious dining and living areas. Several large terraces (accessible from bedrooms) offer seaviews of Krk bay, as well as of nearby islands of Rab and Cres. Outside, in a 1.000 sqm large Mediteranean garden, a private pool is nested among olive and fig trees, lavander and sage, Also outside, a roofed dining terrace and a stone-built fireplace/barbecue provide excellent setting for relaxation and socializing. The parking lot accomodates 3 cars.

Island of Krk is located in Northern Adriatic, boasting excellent traffic links and proximity to many attractions. The island is linked to the mainland with a bridge - making possible easy daytrips to nearby Istrian peninsula, Plitvice lakes, even Venice. The international airport of Rijeka/Krk (RJK) is situated on the island, with regular direct flights from UK, Germany, Scandinavia.

Krk

The historic town of Krk, administrative center of the island, is a lively fishing and tourist community. Pittoresque old city is still surrounded by the medieval defensive walls (including the 12th-century fortress right on the waterfront), with its panorama dominated by the 16th-century cathedral and its narrow stone-cobbled streets still breathe of traditional Mediterranean way of life.

Restaurants, shops and bars are lined along the waterfront promenade. There is also a local marketplace where fresh locally grown produce can be found alongside the dailycatch of fish and other seafood.

Along the Krk shoreline, there are several beaches with wide range of activities - watersports, boat rentals, fishing tours/trips, diving courses/trips. Other sports on offer are - tennis courts, hiking and biking.
