Peacefully located at the village Kavalos, Apokoronas municipality, over the Lake of Kournas the only natural lake of the island of Crete. Our villa is quite close to the tourist village of Kavros, the scenic town of Georgioupolis about 4 kilometers from the sandy beach of Georgioupolis - Episkopi, at the slopes of the White Mountains at the northeastern corner of the prefecture of Chania with breathtaking views to the lake and the Cretan Sea.

Built with traditional design, it affords guests with everything they need in order to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The rooms of the Villa are functionally decorated. Its 5 bedrooms all fully equipped and comfortable. The lounge, dining room, kitchen are equipped with everything essential for a comfortable holiday. The house offers 3 large bathrooms and an additional WC.The gardens of the Villa are surrounded by hand-made stone fences full of blossoming bushes and trees.

The outdoor pool is heated and can reach 6 to 8 degrees more that the air temperature with maximum value of 29°C

Swim in the private swimming pool. Enjoy your coffee or drink at one of the terraces of our Villa, looking out towards the big blue of the Cretan Sea or the lake and the White Mountains. As you gaze at the olive groves surrounding the village you will relax immersed in aromas of rosemary, lavender and mint, engulfing you in a dream of the natural scent of the Cretan land.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send HotelPraxis Group (the owner) a message.

If HotelPraxis Group (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
