At Koufonisia in a quiet location ten minutes walking distance from the village, with unrivaled view of the Aegean, we are expecting you to ensure your comfortable stay with homely hospitality.

The apartment has two rooms, a bedroom and a living room with sitting area, loft and kitchen. It can comfortably accommodate four adults or even five if some are kids. Ideal for families or a group of friends.

The bedroom has a double bed, air conditioner, ceiling fan, hair dryer, extra large closet with a safe and decor which creates a very relaxing environment. The living room has a sleeper couch, air conditioner, TV and beautiful furnishings which create a comfortable and beautiful environment influenced from everything of the island atmosphere.

The kitchen is large with very good equipment for preparation of all meals. (Normal kitchen, large fridge, filter coffee maker, cooking utensils, crockery, table, chairs etc). Above the kitchen, the staircase leads to a loft with

The apartment is bright, very cool and all rooms overlook the large terraces of which two with views of the sea and nearby islands. One of them is shaded all day, with wonderful views of the Aegean Sea, with a traditional outside couch and a large table, ideal for breakfast and all other meals with family and friends. The sunsets are wonderful, and so are the moonlit nights!

The South Aegean region

The Koufonisia consist of two islands, the Upper and Lower Koufonisi, and belongs to the Small East Cyclades. They are separated by a narrow strait of width 200 m.

Geographically, they are found 3 miles southeast of Naxos and west of Amorgos. Close linked with their name is Keros a small uninhabited island, 15.2 sq km., which hosts significant findings of Cycladic culture.

The Upper ( Pano ) Koufonisi has an area of 5,7 km ² and a population of about 350 inhabitants whose main occupation is fishing and to a lesser extent cattling. In recent years the people are involving also with tourism.

The Lower (Kato ) Koufonisi has an area of 4 km ². Although previously there was a small settlement with ten families, nowadays it is almost uninhabited, and have a few houses inhabited mainly in the summer.

You should have in mind that Stella's Home is in a quite area with marvellous sea view located 10 minutes walking distance from the village and 15 minutes from the beach. This could be important in case of small kids or elder people.
