Description

Baan Moon is originally a fisherman's house. Located right on a beautiful lagoon, it was recently renovated into a full-fledged wooden villa that retains the unique charm of traditional Thai houses while offering the comfort of a modern habitat.

-> IDEAL FOR: single persons, couples and families. Lagon-side location perfect for people looking for peace and quiet. Sealovers, fishermen, yogis, dreamers & peace-seekers.

-> NOT SUITABLE FOR: Due to the location of the house on a quiet lagoon and the nature of the house (wooden house on water) we are unable to accept groups of people who come to party. The house is strictly non smoking.

-> The 120m² villa is fully equipped and boasts a large open living space and kitchen, two large master bedrooms with outstanding views, one smaller room and two bathrooms, perfect for vacationers from 1 to 6/7 persons.

-> The 180 degrees panoramic terrace offers unparalleled views onto the jungle-covered mountains, the mangrove, a large coconut grove and the beach & sea (and of course daily sunset sights!). Small fishing boats and tourists on their kayaks sail past as you relax in one of the hammocks, chill out on the wooden deck or sunbathe on the outer deck.

-> The house is centrally located on the west coast of the island, half way to the north and south, just minutes away from 2 villages offering all daily conveniences (supermarket, bakery, café, restaurants, massage, pharmacy, scooter rental, etc) and from all attractions including Koh Chang's longest beach, elephant /jungle trekking, sailing, kayak, tennis, diving clubs, cooking lessons & more! 10 min to the International Clinic.

-> We live all year long on Koh Chang, so we will be happy to recommend all the good places and to be of assistance at any time.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Ian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
