Very Good

“Very happy!”

Reviewed 14 Nov 2017

A lovely, newly renovated cottage perfect for a small family in a great location by the river Nidd. It has everything you need. Knaresborough is a small town with lots of pubs, a few cafes and even a small castle. It has a Sainsburys Local and Tesco Local and it is not far at all by car to three big supermarkets. We did a couple of beautiful walks in the Dales and saw the Aysgarth Falls. Fountains Abbey, York, Harrogate and Whitby are well worth a visit. York is only 20 minutes away by train. All in all we loved Yorkshire!

Great little cottage, perfect location. We love Knaresborough. Lots of great real ale pubs, fantastic fish & chip shop. Lots of places nearby or nor to far away to visit. Thanks Jackie for the supplies it was really good of you. Will definitely be staying again.,

“A nice little cottage”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2017

A lovely little cottage. A bit impractical but that only made it more idyllic. The large bathroom was excellent. And for the first time in England, we had water pressure! So I did not have to wait to get back home to get shampoo of my hair. The tap water is also top notch, as good as any bottled water. The fridge is too small, but buy groceries for one day at a time and you're fine. The beds were good! No backpains on this stay.

“Nice and cosy”

We just had a short stay for a wedding nearby. But it was long enough to appreciate this cosy and well equipped cottage

“Very pretty and quiet”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2014

We had a lovely week, the cottage is well equipped and clean and Jackie was v kind and helpful. She even took us shopping as my mother and myself have mobility problems at the moment. Knaresborough is a small friendly town, with quite a few nice places to eat, we had our best meal at the Dower House. Another must is Rascals, a cafe by the river (definately try a fat rascal which is a popular local cake.) I would definately return there again.
