“Another beautiful stay in our favorite vacation home”

As many years before, we spent our March vacation in Iain Kings beautiful villa, together with our friends who have often joined us. All of us can highly recommend this wonderful vacation home which is our favorite one (and we have rented a lot of different houses in this resort, when Iains house was already occupied). As usual, we felt like being home from the very first minute, and during our first week it was as nice and as peaceful as in the years before. But then everything changed due to the Corona situation. The first shops started to close and the people at Wallmart and Publix located not far away started making hamster purchases. Despite the situation getting worse, we still felt so safe in “our” house at beautiful Bellavida resort. We enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood, our large deck around the pool and took walks around the lake, since all the malls and other attractions were closed by then. When we discovered that all our flights back to Germany were cancelled and we were put on another flight the following week, we paniced and contacted Iain that we needed to stay longer than initially scheduled. Iain responded immediately and took care of everything, even extended the pool heating. A couple of days later, the flights on which we were rebooked got cancelled as well and we were told by our airline that there were no direct flights back to Germany anymore. They were not even sure if they would still be flying the following week. So they re-re-booked us on one of the last flights back home at the end of that week, which meant that we had to leave the villa earlier than initially scheduled. Without being asked, Iain was so kind and gave us a credit for our next stay for the days we had to leave erlier. We didn’t expect that. This was very kind and obliging! Thank you very much again, Iain! All of us do hope very much that we will soon be able to return to the villa, which feels like our “second home” to us. Hopefully, everyone stays safe!

“Another wonderful vacation”

We have stayed here many times before, and it always feels like being home from the very first minute. Our family and all of our friends who have joined us love the villa, the large pool and deck and the beautiful and peaceful view on the lake. The house is equiped for a lot of people and has everything you need for a large group. It is spacious and beautifully decorated. Thank you Iain, for all your advice and for assisting us. It is always a pleasure to get in touch with you! We can't wait to be back next year.

Owner's reply: I'm sorry you have felt the need to apply a 2-star rating, (the first in 11 years which has not been 5-stars, especially as I allowed your request to delay the final payment of the rental, as you were unable to pay on time. The lightning struck the day before your arrival, and not a week before, consequently, the alarm company and utility company were stretched to provide immediate service. After the sudden deluge of rain, it was natural in Florida, that bugs would get washed into the pool, and there is, on the wall, a 'pool-cleaner' for this very purpose, and it was noted, however, it did not restrict your use of the pool in any way. My management company tried on countless occasions to rectify the problems and were in no way ignoring your requests. As a gesture of goodwill, I will consider a discount on your next visit, should you wish to stay with us again. Iain

“Another amazing holiday in this stunning villa! Perfect location - highly recommend”

We have stayed here 3 times now and the whole family absolutely love it! It is beautifully decorated, immaculate and very spacious. It definitely has the ‘wow’ factor! It is in a lovely quiet and secure area, and has stunning views of the lake at the back of the villa. It is an ideal location for the Disney parks, and Universal parks (which are just a short drive away), and also shops and restaurants. We have had experience of staying at other villas before finding Belleair, and now we would never want to stay anywhere else. We highly recommend it.

“Best villa at Bellavida, Kissimmee”

We have rented this villa many times now and as usual, we felt like being home from the very beginning. We also know some other houses at Bellavida, but this one is absolutely the most wonderful: Fantastic lake view, quiet, clean, spacious with a huge pool and deck and enough sun loungers and chairs, dishes ... for a large group of people. You can also see that the owners take very much care of the house and it is beautifully decorated. It is always nice and easy to correspond with Iain, the owner, and we can't wait to be back next year. We can highly recommend this property!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Iain (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
