"Great base, remarkable value"
I stayed at Strath Tay for eight days and had a great time. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and very quiet. There is plenty of storage room for food and the oven worked really well. I could not have asked for a better place, especially at the price. Kirkmichael is finely situated to explore both the Braemar and Aviemore sides of the Cairngorms. It is also situated on the Cateran Trail so the walks from the front door are also excellent. The village shop and cafe opposite has wifi and essentials. Thanks to Angie for letting me stay with my bichon frise dog. We had a great break in a beautiful part of the world.

"Excellent value for money, would recommend."
I stayed for a week with my pet dog, and would recommend the apartment as a place to just get away from it all and relax. The proprietor was very welcoming and helpful, the apartment was spacious, clean, warm and had everything you would need and important when you are engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, lashings of hot water, and laundry facilities available within the apartment complex for guests. The location is simply lovely, if you enjoy outdoor pursuits there are opportunities in abundance. The local people were kind and friendly; and I would recommend the local community cafe and restaurants, which are good value for money and of a high standard.
