Lower Nunton is typical detached Galloway Cottage on a hill overlooking Kircudbright Bay within walking distance of the safe, sheltered bathing beach of Dhoon Bay. With the artists' town of Kirkcudbright only 3.5 miles away, it is convenient for restaurants, shops and art galleries whilst enjoying the peace and stunning views that the cottage has to offer. There are a number of walks you can take from the front door.Other activities within a short drive include golf, sailing, horse riding, swimming pool, walking, cycling and many historic sites and visitor attractions making this an ideal place for adults and children alike. The cottage has been totally refurbished to a very high standard and offers accommodation all on the ground floor for 6 people in 3 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 twin and a shower room at one end of the cottage and a bunk room with full size bunk beds and a bathroom at the other. All of the main rooms have picture windows offering a panoramic view of Kirkcudbright Bay towards St Mary's Isle. The enclosed garden is laid to lawn and equipped with patio furniture and portable BBQ and has views in all directions to the sea, the hills and woodland. At the rear of the property there is parking for several cars.The price is all inclusive of linen, electricity logs etc. Well behaved pets are welcome by prior notice at a small extra charge of £5 per pet. Please be aware that the cottage is situated on a working farm and is accessed via an unmade track through a field and dogs must be kept under control. The track was resurfaced in June 2014.
