Description from owner

Description

Kirkbymoorside is a small market town right next to a national park, the North York Moors. It is ideal walking country.

Fuchsia cottage is minutes away from groceries, hairdressers, restaurant and cafés and pubs. The doctors surgery and the dentist are also minutes away. There's no garden but a small patio with a sun bench. The cottage space is cosy, with an open fire, but not cramped. The cottage is cleaned and, of course, all the linen washed between each booking. Thee's a nice bath and plenty of hot water for a good soak, but, I'm afraid, no stand-up shower, just a rubber shower attachment that fits around the taps.

I live very near and will be available should there be anything you need; Other than that I will leave you alone to enjoy your stay.

“Great for dogs”

Reviewed 28 Dec 2016

Lovely location, ideal setup for dogs (enclosed yard, enclosed kitchen, hard wearing carpet). Comfy bed, kitchen has everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner. Water pressure is low upstairs so showering was a bit tricky and theres a bit of a lack of electric points (found the spare extension cable as we were leaving), fire needs regular attention and without it the temperature did drop. But as a holiday cottage it was great

Owner's reply: Thank you for an accurate review. Please come in the summer and take full advantage of the North York Moors.
