Beech Meadow is one of a number of Holiday Cottages set in a beautiful complex set amongst the most stunning countryside. Beech Meadow has a lovely homely feel (or so I've told) and I would like my guests to feel like they can enjoy and relax as if they were staying in there own home. For the last few years Beech Meadow has been awarded the 5* Gold award by the Cumbrian Tourist inspector and I hope to received the award again this year.

The small market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is a popular holiday destination, set in the heart of the Lune Valley, surrounded by areas of Outstanding Natural beauty to all sides and it has been described as the ‘Jewel in the Crown,’ and probably a reason for its popularity with returning visitor’s year after year. It is the gate way to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Lake District National Park and The Forest of Bowland. Kirkby Lonsdale has a collection of wonderful shops restaurants and quirky cafes. The nearest supermarket (Booths) is just about a mile away, there is a small SPAR in the centre of town along with three excellent takeaways.

During your stay at Beech Meadow you will be provided with White Company dressing gowns, towels and complimentary 'Bath House toiletries'. There is also a hairdryer and TV in every bedroom. To give you the extra comfort while you sleep away from home you have a heavenly duck feather mattress topper provided on every mattress.

*One of the king size bedrooms can also be split as a twin single beds. In both King size rooms an extra pull out single bed can accommodate a small child/teenager and we can provide a travel cot and high chair for baby.

NB: For a small daily charge the Whoop Hall Leisure Club is something else you may wish to add to your holiday to make it a truly memorable stay! You can enjoy a relaxing swim or an energetic workout in the gym!

For the more adventures guests who want to explore the area and its surroundings you are just 5 minutes away from the small town of Ingleton, famous for its caves and waterfall walk. Whether you like fishing in the river Lune, golfing at Casterton, horse riding in New Hutton, walking in the Lakes, cycling through the Dales, or shopping in Kirkby Lonsdale. It has everything to offer all right on your doorstep!

Outside there is private seating area where you can relax and enjoy the stunning breathtaking views or have a picnic in the gorgeous green grounds. Staying at The Meadows is perfectly situated so you have endless opportunities not to travel to far to keep everyone entertained during your holiday!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Michelle (the owner) a message.

If Michelle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
