“Beautiful home-beautiful location”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2016

Jasmine cottage is a beautiful cottage with everything you could need for a self-catered stay. My husband and I were in Kirkby Lonsdale for a wedding along with our 2 adult children and our son's fiance. The space for us was perfect, the location was ideal for the wedding and walks, and it was very easy for us to reach from the M6. With the unexpected beautiful weather the garden was a lovely spot to relax. We would definitely book again!

Many thanks for your lovely comments, we are so pleased that you managed to enjoy the garden!

“Beautiful, cosy cottage”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2015

A beautifully presented cottage in an ideal location. The cottage is spacious and well equipped. We visit Kirby Lonsdale regularly and this cottage is a minutes walk from the centre with its wonderful pubs, restaurants and boutique shops. There are many great villages, national trust properties and activities for children to visit close by.Our two children loved the courtyard garden and the bedrooms were perfect for them. The wood burner is an excellent addition and adds to the cosy atmosphere. I'm sure we will visit again and would recommend this cottage to all.

We love the town too with all of its excellent shops and places to eat - thank you for your comments!

“Light, lovely house right in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale.”

Reviewed 28 May 2015

The perfect base for a walking, eating and drinking weekend with friends. Bang in the middle of Kirkby Lonsdale yet with good parking availability, which is at a premium in this narrow-streeted old town. The house itself is clean, bright and well-equipped. We had a lovely time.

“Perfect in Every Way”

Reviewed 19 May 2015

We have stayed at Jasmine Cottage numerous times and it has never disappointed. It is clean, superbly equipped, warm and welcoming. There are always little extra touches that make you feel at home and it is continually updated; including an excellent WIFI service. The patio is a big plus and a real sun trap. Kirkby Lonsdale is a wonderful little town in a great location; with excellent restaurants, interesting shops and superb access to all the places you might want to visit while in this most beautiful area. There are walks from the door or a short drive away. There is a wide range of activities available for all interests and ages. It's our second home, we love visiting it and would recommend it most highly to everyone.

Many thanks for your lovely comments, you are always welcome back at the cottage, we love having you and it doesn't go missed that you look after it like it was your second home!

“another perfect stay”

Another lovely stay - 6th visit now Perfect location in centre of the village Cosy cottage always clean and well equipped Good to have its own parking spot too will be returning soon hopefully

“Warm cosy and clean property”

Reviewed 11 Feb 2015

The property was warm and cosy very close to all the shops and lovely pubs serving good food. There is parking allocated to you very close to the property which is of great benefit as parking in the town is restricted. We had a lovely time and the town itself is well worth a visit for its specialist shops. There are great walks from the door and the area around the town is lovely.

“A home from home in lovely Kirkby Lonsdale”

Reviewed 21 Jan 2015

We had a fabulous time staying in your beautiful home from home. When we arrived it was set out so nicely and we found it had everything that we needed and more. The small touches such as the lovely coffee make it really stand out from other places I have stayed in the area. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had a great holiday and even suggested trying Avanti's food which lived up to their fab review. We will definitely be back and will be recommending to all our friends. Their Facebook page is great for ideas and I look forwards to staying when you have the log burner. Thank you

“Warm, cosy, comfortable and clean”

Reviewed 9 Dec 2014

The title says it all really. We (myself, my wife, our eldest son, daughter-in-law and our two grandchildren) stayed in Jasmine Cottage for three nights over the weekend of 5 December. The cottage was everything we expected and more and we wanted for nothing, with good-sized rooms and a very well equipped kitchen, although we only breakfasted in the cottage, preferring to eat out during the day. There is such a good choice of restaurants within minutes (even seconds) walking distance along with pubs and individual shops. Even so the location as extremely quiet and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. The bathroom and over-bath shower are excellent with constant hot water. The facility for parking is an added bonus as it's free and right outside the door. All in all we can highly recommend Jasmine Cottage as a great place to stay, whether it's for just enjoying Kirkby Lonsdale for what it is - easy, relaxed and individual, or as a base for walking the local fells.

“Fantastic cottage”

Cottage is lovely very clean, well equipt with lovely courtyard garden and car parking, home from home, perfect location in Kirby Lonsdale for restaurant's and shops loved our stay

“Great cottage”

Reviewed 5 Aug 2014

Great well equipped cottage in a good location. Kirkby Lonsdale is lovely village with lots of good pubs and restaurants. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, very well thought out with everything you will need and more, right down to an umbrella in case of rain, and a little torch should you be out late and need a bit extra light to guide you home. We took things like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll etc. as it was self catering, but all this and more was provided. Go to the sun inn for a meal, you will not be dissapointed. Would definitely return.

Thank you for your lovely comments, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and would happily welcome you back any time.
