Description

Burrendale House is a beautiful ,well decorated , 4star , Failte Ireland approved holiday home with free WiFi / internet access , in a very ,quiet ,relaxed location ,just off the main street/pier area in the picturesque ,harbour village of Kinvara, with no through traffic or noise to disturb a good nights sleep after wonderful days ,enjoying the beautiful scenery that this area has to offer with plenty of sea air ,lovely country,beach and mountain walks ,cycling.

Visit the many attractions ,play a game of golf or tennis , have fun with the children in the new astro turf playground ,sit on the quay, watch the boats come and go, or have a nice meal in one of the cafe/pub/restaurants sprinkled around the village with some traditional music to finish off a perfect day .

From the back of the house ,you can see the horses grazing in the fields ,hear the birds sing and from the front ,you see the lovely ,limestone ,landscape of the Burren mountains ,Galway bay and harbour area .

Rental period - 16.00hrs.on arrival day to 11.00 hrs. on day of departure .

Booking - 50% deposit with booking ,balance due 6 weeks before arrival.

Security dep. - A refundable security deposit of 100 euros is payable with bal ,6 weeks before arrival.This is returned within seven days less the E.S.B ,oil ,gas ,and any other costs incurred during the rental period .

linen - All bed linen and towels are provided and beds are made up .

Electricity, gas and heating oil are charged at cost .

Changeover day is flexible ,short stays welcome .

Car not necessary as house is located in village ,but would be helpful for getting around to see all the sites .

We welcome all our guests and hope that they have a wonderful stay in Burrendale House and around Kinvara area ,leaving with many good memerious of their visit .

We would also be delighted if they could leave house as near as possible to the way they receive it,put rubbish in desinated bins ,etc. to facilitate quick changeover expecially in high season .

We provide books,dvd"s,welcome folder with loads of info. on local attractions ,maps ,etc. and we can organise tickets for banquet at Dunguaire Castle nearby or a boat trip to the wonderful Aran Islands .

The house has a lovely sitting room with wooden floor, leather couches and gas fire .
The dining room/sunroom is spacious with wooden floor and French doors leading out to patio/back garden.
All four bedrooms are well furnished with wooden floors , matching beds,lockers, wardrobes ,dressingtables , mirrors,stools, hair-dryer and lamps .Power showers in two bathrooms ,one of which also has large bath.Kitchen has double ovens,grill and top plate ,large fridge /freezer,dishwasher, microwave,coffee maker ,toaster ,kettle ,well stocked with pots/pans ,crockery,cutlery,etc. and lots of storage space .
Washing machine, dryer, iron and ironboard in utility room off kitchen,downstairs toilet and hand basin off hall.

Front garden with ample ,private ,off-street parking .

No hen or stag groups please and no parties allowed in house .

TAXI SERVICE AVAILABLE, mini-bus or car ,-- We can pick you up from airport ,take you on day trips while here or take you back to airport or next stop at end of your stay .

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mary (the owner) a message.

If Mary (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
