A PARADISE FOR WiILDLIFE AND BIRDWATCHING

Enjoy the peaceful, secluded location in a lakeside wooden cabin, on our 300-acre working farm. Reopened 1 feb 2016 after a new look facelift in "Shades of Grey " theme, and a little shabby chic. Really cosy and warm with our electric look-a-like wood burner for the chilly months.

Surrounded by 1.5 acres of gorgeous gardens overlooking the lake, this scrumptious self-catering cabin offers unique charm and romance. Beautifully positioned, with wonderful views from the veranda, across the lake to pasture/parkland. Ideal for honeymoons, romantic breaks, walkers, business visits, and convenient for foreign travellers as only 30 minutes from Heathrow airport. Wonderful, tranquil, rural setting on the edge of a small village bordering Oxford South at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, with no passing traffic.

Sit on the veranda with a glass of wine enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings with the scene of sheep, cattle and grandchildren's

Sit on the veranda with a glass of wine enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings with the scene of sheep, cattle and grandchildren's ponies peacefully grazing. See the red kites soaring above, or perching in the native black popular by the lake, the green woodpecker on the lawn, the squirrels burying their nuts, the flash of blue of the kingfisher, feed the ducks a morning crust, Mr pheasant strutting around, and early visits from pesky rabbits! We take pride in our abundance of wildlife….never a dull moment, in our natures paradise. The lakeside cabin is in the ideal location for walking/cycling in the Chilterns and we are close to the historic Ridgeway Path. Visit Oxford, London, Bicester village, and many National Trust properties listed under Attractions

We welcome disposable barbeques for that balmy evening by the lake, available from local shop.

Our local area is well known as the locations for the long running BBC series Midsomer Murders, Inspector Morse and the Vicar of Dibley

You can visit a host of locations including several lovely country pubs, used in the BBC series. We are near Oxford and within easy reach to London (Marylebone) by train, from Princes Risborough Station just 4 miles away.

Great walkable pub serving excellent food and many others just short drive away including Raymond Blanc's 2 Michelin star Le Manoir Aux Quats Saisons and the1 Michelin Star Sir Charles Napier tucked away in the Chilterns. Visit the Hand and Flowers in Marlow, owned by celebrity television chef Tom Kerridge.

We provide at no extra charge a welcome pack for your first mornings breakfast. Sorry Mr Fox has taken all our hens but I buy local free range eggs.

Sleeps 2/3 as an extra bed can be provided for a child over 5 with a supplement of £20 per night. 2 nights minimum stay. Free internet WIFI

A paradise for nature/wildlife lovers in our idyllic haven.
