2017 was the first year that this chalet was available for holiday rentals. Chalet 64 can be found at the end of the holiday park in a quiet location well away from the car park. It looks out across the park and has front sea views. The chalet is ideal for couples and families; being cosy for 2 or able to sleep 5 in beds. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs (1 double/1 twin) with a separate toilet/washbasin and a single bedroom downstairs. At the discretion of the owners, there is a comfortable further sofa bed in the lounge that could sleep a further 2.

You enter the chalet from a raised verandah into the lounge. The lounge has heating, comfortable seating, coffee tables and great views out over the park and sea. There is a practical kitchen with cooker and microwave, and a separate dining room with dining table and 6 chairs, giving access out to the back patio and small garden.

The chalet is neat, tidy, clean and always welcoming of new and returning guests.

The holiday park has a well maintained tennis court, volleyball pitch, mini golf and children's play area. There is a bar hosting seasonal events. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the sea and although the holiday park has an indoor swimming pool, it has been closed by the owner for all 2018 for refurbishment.

There are 3 lovely pubs within a 5 minute walk, one of which is directly on Kingsdown's pebbly beach - perfect for anytime of the day but necessary to book for meals.

There is easy walking/cycling access to the coastal paths that lead into Deal town and Sandwich in one direction and into Dover and beyond in the other. Walmer Castle and Deal Castle are within easy walking distance and you can overlook Dover Castle and the cliffs after a little more energetic walking - this walk would take you past the South Foreland Lighthouse.

Kingsdown is a perfect location - for couples looking for leisurely and/or active pursuits and for families to enjoy all the park facilities, the 5 minute walks to the beach and the local pubs. Something for everyone.

Why can't I call Patricia (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Patricia (the owner) a message.

If Patricia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
