“Extremely rural retreat.”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2014

One of the cleanest self catering cottages I have ever stayed in. The shower was amazing, the bed was very comfy and I had good wifi. There's even a good mobile signal for those on Vodafone, not so good for other providers though. The fresh baked loaf waiting for us when we arrived was delicious and provided us with breakfast for the two nights we were there along with the eggs and butter we found in the fridge. The only sounds you'll hear when you wake are the cows waiting to be milked but as I grew up on a farm I rather enjoyed hearing them. The roads leading to the cottage are extremely narrow but as long as you're perepared for a lot of give and take there won't be a problem. Lots of very good info provided about nearby eating places, beaches and attractions etc. The Oyster Shack was memorable if a little expensive, definitely worth a visit if you can find it!

“A little jewel in South Hams”

A quite out of the way place ideal for relaxation and contemplation suited for touring the area by car, bicycle or foot The accommodation has everything one wants including a lovely arrival basket with beautiful home made bread, jam and eggs and milk in the fridge.. Hosts Emma and Gary made you very welcome into an extension of their home with nothing too much trouble with any advice on the area. Will return in the future for another great stay.

“What a great find”

A beautifully appointed annexe in a tranquil location. Hosts very welcoming. There attention to detail first class. Dartmouth is a real must. Salcombe also well worth a visit especially if you fancy some retail therapy. Avon Mill Loddiswell garden center, gallery, deli and fab restaurant- not too be missed. The coastal route from Kingsbridge to Dartmouth is a must- the scenery spectacular, and some of the most amzing beaches.

“Delight in Devon”

If your looking for a tastefully decorated, well equipped accommodation, in a beautiful location, look no farther than crosspark. Emma & Baz are a friendly welcoming couple, who go the extra mile to make it a memorable stay. On our arrival we discovered a wonderful welcome pack ( home baked bread, home made marmalade, egg, butter, milk, tea, coffee, sugar. The village of woodleigh is charming, and is very centrally based, salcombe, kingsbridge, Dartmouth & lots of beaches all in easy reach.

“Absolutely idyllic!”

Had a long weekend in Devon. Crosspark is in a lovely, quiet location. Everything is brand new! Very convenient for Dartmoor and as we took the dog, we spent lots of time exploring the moors. Great restaurants. Will definitely go back. South Devon is beautiful, Crosspark was perfect for what we wanted and the owners were extremely helpful in there recommendations.
