No trip to this area would be complete without taking in Exmoor National Park which is just on your doorstep, offering some of the most scenic walks and beautiful hidden spots in the county, where you can't help but be inspired by the breath taking scenery and become immersed in the sedate Devonshire way of life.

Farm activities: enjoy the ample pathways and bridle ways meandering through the 80 acres of working HLS farmland (Higher Level Environmental Scheme) that guests are invited to roam and explore, take in the different flora and fauna, where there have been sightings of rare red deer, badgers and buzzards in their natural environment. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, electric and gas central heating included. Regret no smoking within the properties. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome (large breeds by arrangement). Additional info: private water supply. Location: beach 20 miles, shops and pubs 2 miles within Chulmleigh.

Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan area with exposed original wooden beams, ample seating around the dining table, flatscreen TV with DVD and Freeview. Kitchen area: fully-equipped, offers gas cooker with hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, washing machine and use of tumble dryer (charged). Outside: enclosed, private garden with patio and lawn, enjoying garden furniture and BBQ. Additional info: the property is accessed by 5 steps into the enclosed garden, then a further 3 steps to the lounge/diner.
