Description

The Inchview Apartment is a stunningly beautiful and spacious family friendly 2 bedroom (sleeps 5) contemporary conversion of an 18th century school in the popular coastal town of Kinghorn. Awarded 5* by VisitScotland, the property has been furnished to a very high standard and is complimented by luxury and comfort.

Kinghorn with its spectacular beaches is well located and is a great base in which to travel around Central Scotland and the Southern Highlands. The excellent transport network means you can leave the car as you explore Fife, Edinburgh and beyond.

The property sleeps up to 5 people in 2 rooms (a cot is also available for infants) making it suitable for families. Outdoor enthusiasts and dog walkers are well served with beautiful countryside, golf courses and golden beaches on your doorstep.

Getting around

Local buses and trains serve the immediate area and interchange at neighbouring Kirkcaldy for routes throughout Scotland, including Edinburgh, St Andrews, Perthshire and the highlands. Very well placed the apartment is a great central point at which to base yourself to day trip in all directions, far and wide. The local walking and cycling networks pass through the village.

Apartment so comfortable our group were hesitant to go out during our visit to Kinghorn. Owner provided nice touch with her welcome pack, also lots of useful 'tourist' information within apartment for immediate and surrounding area.

I was nervous about going for an apartment, especially after holidaying in detached cottages for the last 3 or 4 years......but I needn't had worried. The apartment was spacious, and very well equiped with tasteful, good quality items. If I were going to be fussy, I'd say that I missed a garden for our 11 year old to play in, but I knew this when I booked back in January, so no surprises there. We have family living in nearby Inverkeithing, and with the trains running regularly and the station being only 5 minutes walk away, I found it ideal (and relaxing) to travel further up along the coast or into Edinburgh if you fancied somewhere more lively. I'd definetly recommend the apartment to friends and family.

The apartment fixtures, fittings and furnishing were all of a very high standard. The owner/manager had thought of everything, we didn't have that feeling of "oh we should have brought this or that", everything we needed was provided. We had clear instructions and details of everything in the apartment and lots of leaflets and info about things to do and see in the area - including rail timetables - which was very helpful. As mentioned in the visitors book, we have stayed in many cottages, converted barns, converted mills and city apartments throughout the years and this was definitely one of our best experiences. The coastal region of Fife was such a nice surprise too - it was beautiful!

We found inchview apartment top notch in every respect. From the comfort of the lounge to the fully fitted kitchen, stylish bathroom and well appointed bedrooms, the apartment gave us a very comfortable stay throughout the week. We look forward to coming back again and again. A must "to do" is to visit Anstruther for the famous fish and chips.

Inchview apartment is a fantastic holiday home located in a great spot with good road and rail links. The aprtment itself is modern, beautifully furnished and very child friendly. We loved it so much we have been there twice! The beach is a short walk away or you can get in the car to explore other beaches or attractions. Edinburgh is a short rail ride away too. Lovely welcome and we had a great stay!!

We visited the apartment for a long weekend and had a brilliant stay. The apartment is immaculate and furnished to a very high standard. The owner has supplied it with everything youneed and provided nice touches like a welcome basket. It is very well stocked with the essentials like tea, coffee, washing powder too.. It's a great area to explore, big beaches for long walks and the east neuk villages/st andrews for art and tasty meals out. Am looking forward to going back later in the year!
