From the owner

Set midway between Clovelly and Hartland to the north and Bude and Widemouth to the South, this is a perfect tranquil setting.We are a mile from the coast path and pub, with 3 stunning beaches within a 10-minute drive.

Bramble cottage is a new 2-bedroom bungalow in the pretty hamlet of Woodford. It has its own private, enclosed garden with an electric hot tub(as an optional extra), barbecue and patio furniture. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There is Wi-Fi, TV and DVD player, a super king bed and twin beds. A maximum of two friendly dogs are welcome. We can put a cot in either bedroom.

It is an entirely separate property, situated at the end of the drive. You will drive past our house to the designated parking area in front of the bungalow. There is enough parking for 2 cars.

As we live in the main house, we are available if needed, but we have made an information pack to help you make the most of your stay. Guests will have our phone number if you need to talk to us while you are out.

If you would like to use the hot tub for the duration of your stay it will cost £20 a day. We do not include the hot tub fees as part of the booking as some guests do not want to use it.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
