Description

Comfortable, cosy secluded cottage in a quiet location overlooking the River Greta in Keswick, with an abundance of wildlife and red squirrels gracing the garden. Only a 15 minute level walk from the town centre with the benefit of having walks to the fells: Latrigg, Skiddaw & Blencathra directly from the doorstep. Very well equipped with a comprehensive Sky package and all modern appliances. The owner is a fully qualified hypnotherapist and psychotherapist and can offer therapeutic breaks by request. Private parking.

Arrival is from 3pm with the cottage accessible via a key safe, number will be provided on confirmation of booking. Although we live nearby we like to leave you to enjoy the cottage but should you have any issues we are of course available.

“Cosy cottage retreat.”

We stayed 4 nights in Bridge Cottage & it was amazing. Very cosy well equipped the owners Mike & Sally have thought of everything you could possibly need or want. It is so quiet there which suited us and Keswick was only a 15 minute walk. Met the owner Mike and it was a joy to chat with him. We hope to return some time in the future. The cottage has had a revamp of the kitchen and lounge which is beautiful. Mike & Sally you guys need to update the photos on the rental sites to show how lovely your improvements are. Pure perfection.

Beautiful cottage. Twenty minute stroll along the old railway path to Keswick. We didn't use our car at all here. Lovely presentation, nicely appointed. Wonderful owners. We didn't even mind being rained in one day, as we had such a delightful place to stay.

A superb location with good walks along the disused railway tracks both into town and alongside the river Greta with beautiful countryside. The cottage was excellent with everything you could want and even the weather was good!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
