“Cottage”

Really nice quirky cottage... very peaceful & a lovely place to stay would definitely stay again. Perfect

“Quaint cottage close to centre of keswick with some child friendly features.”

Reviewed 17 Feb 2020

Enjoyable break. Shame that storm dennis hit the same weekend we were there. That meant we couldnt do as much outdoors as we hoped and needed to be indoors with a toddler which was hard work! Thankfully the property owner was friendly and approachable and the cottage has some child friendly features such as a door at the bottom of the stairs for safety and a travel cot and high chair. our toddler enjoyed exploring all the cupboards so we needed to move some items of of reach. The property was warm and had access to sky tv which unfortunately stopped working on the last night due to the storm. Storm aside, the property was lovely and close to keswick and makes a great base to explore it from.

We stayed 4 nights in Bridge Cottage & it was amazing. Very cosy well equipped the owners Mike & Sally have thought of everything you could possibly need or want. It is so quiet there which suited us and Keswick was only a 15 minute walk. Met the owner Mike and it was a joy to chat with him. We hope to return some time in the future. The cottage has had a revamp of the kitchen and lounge which is beautiful. Mike & Sally you guys need to update the photos on the rental sites to show how lovely your improvements are. Pure perfection.
