“Clean, comfortable and spacious”

Reviewed 2 May 2013

Ashness house was clean and comfortable and had plenty of room. We stayed with our 4 children (ages between 9 and 17) and had plenty of room. It was great having an extra lounge as it gave the kids somewhere to do their own thing!

“Perfect for Walking Friends/Families”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2013

We liked this because it wasn't 'posh', just comfy, clean and perfect for us, (eight walkers). Two lounges, close to town, really good base :) xx

“Fabulous Location, lovely house, will definitely be back”

Reviewed 4 Apr 2013

Lovely house in prime location in centre of Keswick. All bedrooms lovely, one of which is en suite. Really good price too. Well definitely return.

“Great pad for a wet weekend”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2013

Stayed at Ashness House last June and despite a weekend of rain had a pleasant weekend here. Very comfortable with lots of character and spent relaxing hours reading in the attic bedroom (great views) and also in the 1st floor lounge. Large single room downstairs is ideal for cooking/eating and just chilling with friends. Looking forward to going again.

“Excellent cottage in a great location”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2013

The cottage was spacious and lacked for nothing. All the rooms were comfortable and spotless. The location is perfect for the town and lake and meant that the teenagers in our party did not need lifts to escape their parents. We would recommend this to anyone who wants a Lake District stay with the convenience of being close to ameneties.

“Look no further for top class accomodation.”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2013

This accomodation was exceptionally clean and roomy. It is a perfect place for larger families with 2 lounges ideal for different age groups. I would highly recommend Ashness House for an excellent holiday.
