Location description from owner

The Scotland region

The county of Perthshire is situated in the southern Scottish Highlands where outdoor activities abound but indoor attractions are plentiful as well. The immediate area will keep you busy for days and days but you are well placed to visit much of Scotland for day trips from this central location.

Kenmore

The conservation village of Kenmore is small but has year round facilities for wining and dining and two small food shops for the self caterer. Loch Tay is literally a stones throw away with its fishing, boating and swimming. The neighbouring hills have many forest walks with historic sites, waterfalls and fine views to discover on the way. Sail on the Loch, go fishing, play golf and go horse riding all within a short walk in the village. If you are serious about your fishing the famous River Tay leaves the Loch in the village. Go to Aberfeldy and visit the Dewars distillery, or just a bit further to Pitlochry and enjoy a world class theatre.

“Mrs”

Reviewed 28 Nov 2016

We had a brilliant time here. The location is spot on, accommodation was spotless and the view from the window is beautiful. Would definitely visit again, every turn has another fantastic view and numerous walks to go on. Didn't quite make it up Ben lawers as the snow arrived!

Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to you visiting us again.
